I had a solo break here 10 months ago and the experience has really stayed with me. It's a high point of relaxation in what has been a very stressful year. The site is beautiful, the owners are so kind. The hut itself was really comfortable, the fire kept me really warm even though it was still fairly chilly out. The outdoor space means you can have a fire and cook over it if you want. The toilet, shower and washing up space are separate but nice. You need to use cool boxes to store food but none of that was much of a bother. The overall impression I am left with now was a calm space with beautiful views. I want to go back.

I stayed here with my partner few weeks ago. We chose Coplow for a quiet few days and nights away to rest and recharge. The Shepherds Hut we stayed at had all the main facilities you would want, including cooking bits. The hosts were lovely and helpful. It really felt like a lot of thought and love had gone into the place and made it such a relaxing couple of days. Would highly recommend!

We came here for our anniversary weekend and it was everything that we wanted, it is so beautiful, the owners are lovely and SOOO helpful! There's so much to do if you're wanting to get out and about in the local area or wanting to stay out in the countryside, then a walk down to the river/ village pubs is perfect. We are 1000% coming back here. Thank you

Amazing experience, beautiful quiet place with gorgeous views and everything you need to feel comfortable. After the booking the hosts provide a lot of information on how to operate everything, what to do in the area etc, but everything is pretty easy and easy to operate. As well as this there are additional little details in the cabin to make your stay better (incense sticks, card games etc.) Separate activity areas and picnic areas around the retreat. Overall an amazing winter alternative to camping but would work really well in summer too!

Lovely little getaway place especially if you like the outdoors and camping. Places to get to that are near. Hosts are very friendly and talked us through everything. Make sure you wrap up warm in the winter though as gets very cold. Only thing is that I wished it was more lit up as hard to find in the dark even with a torch.

We (a family of four) booked a last minute one night stay here this weekend and were thoroughly impressed with the whole experience. The woodland retreat is beautiful, the cabins nicely spaced out, expertly built (we were in awe of the owner’s workmanship) and tastefully furnished and the communal area extremely clean and well maintained. Lots of nice touches including a super helpful well laid out information pack. The toilet and cool box were pretty novel and the owner was super hospitable too. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

This place is absolutely beautiful and the love and care by the owners is very clear. It is clean and tidy, family and pet friendly and the owners are friendly and welcoming. It is such a lovely place to stay and Anneli and Jonny should be extremely proud xx

There's something magical about the woods at Coplow. The walks and the views all make for a truly delightful break space for myself and my dogs. My dogs now recognise where we are when I pull into the lane and they love the cabin, as do I! Looking forward to another visit sometime soon.

We had a great time in this place , the cabin was beautiful, well maintained , clean and well equipped . Anneli and Jonny were very nice people , nothing was to much bother , great location and super views we will be returning for another visit later this year , thanks again 👍🏻 A*

This was a surprise Xmas present for my wife and she loved it. We arrived on Boxing Day 2022 Felt at home immediately. Everything was clean, tidy, and well thought out. We wanted for nothing Anneli and Jonny thought of every little detail. Candle’s Incense, lovely comfy bed and extra blankets, had a great time, so peaceful, chilled and warm by the log fire with a glass of Wine. Completely relaxed. Had not relaxed like this for a long time. Views of the Countryside, and walks, great for our little doggy, even a jar of doggy biscuits supplied  Can’t wait to go back again and again. Will book again ASAP.

I've stayed at a whole range of similar experiences; however, I must say that Coplow is one of the most well thought out so far! They really have thought about everything! Upon arrival, we had a folder packed full of useful information and while the winter weather deterred us from experiencing the mapped out local walks/exploring, the folder led us to a wonderful Indian takeout who found and delivered straight to us (which really was the icing on top of the cake for our cosy games night in front of the fire). We will definitely be back to explore the country walk to the local pub next time though! The cabins inside are way more spacious than they look, the bed is unbelievably comfy and the cabins kitchen set up was so well equipped with utensils, crockery, gas lit hobs and a little sink, which made brekkie super easy and convenient. Something I've never seen before was the totally unique food cooler, pretty "cool" concept and a lovely addition as I know a lot of glamping spots don't often provide this amenity. The cosy sanctuary had everything we needed including charging spots inside our cabin, a picturesque outdoor decking area (perfect for a morning coffee and contemplating life at the view of peaceful fields and sunrise), outdoor fire spot, calming wood burner inside which made the cabin more than toasty! The toilet is something which perhaps deserves a special mention because I have never come across an outdoor compost loo which smells so good! There is also a shower hut and kitchen area which are clean, well kept and kitted out with good quality eco-friendly products. Overall, I really couldn't fault this retreat -they have thought of everything! A real home away from home, the only things you need to bring are yourself and maybe some breakfast food (if takeout leftovers aren't your thing!) Coplow took care of the rest for us! I felt we got more than we paid for and I'd absolutely recommend to anyone considering a mini escape. Thanks for having us!!

Having never stayed anywhere like this before, I wasn't sure what to expect. I did know that it would be a lovely place but the cabin and its surroundings really did exceed my expectations. The cabin was so well done, so homely, comfortable and had everything we needed. The hosts provided an extensive welcome folder full of how to's, what to do's and where to go's. And the wood burner was fab. I want one! The bathroom, shower facilities and washing area I couldn't fault. Clean, spacious and a short distance from the cabin. Along with eco-friendly bodywash, shampoo and conditioner, and washing up liquid provided. You really could go here in any season and be happy, with the woodland and surrounding countryside providing a beautiful setting and backdrop anytime of year. Well done to the owners and their team for creating this stunning retreat. Hugely recommend a visit.

The cabin was really well equipped and extremely comfortable. It had a terrace/balcony and stairs down to a seating area with a firepit and tripod. The woodland setting was absolutely beautiful. The shower room was brilliantly designed and the composting toilet was easy to use and totally odour free. Coplow Woodland Retreat provides a perfect opportunity to live in nature but with a few home comforts. Can't recommend enough, we will definitely return. 😀

Great cabins and a great location! We managed to fit a family of 4 including a travel cot in the cabin and still had room to move about, it was clean, with everything you need! The stove was spot on, and the view over the terrace was beautiful. Toilet & shower facilities were clean and a few seconds walk from the cabin. Hosts really helpful as we checked in late, responded to phone call really quickly. Spot on for exploring Warwick/Stratford or the local area. We WILL be back!

I booked to come here with my and my spaniel, it was easy to sort out via email and when I arrived Anneli was available to chat to. The handcrafted pods are beautiful and the views are amazing. Everything is clean, the bed is comfortable and they were more than accomodating with anything I'd need. My pooch didn't want to leave and neither did I. Thank you so much for such a lovely experience. We will be back.

My daughter treated me to a weekend at Coplow Woodland Retreat for Mother’s Day and what a treat it was!!! Beautiful cabin fully kitted out with little kitchen area, sofa and super comfy bed with a wood burner that heated the cabin up in minutes. We woke up to an absolutely stunning view through the window that spanned the complete front wall of the cabin, from we continued to enjoy on the balcony which then led us to the tripod bbq & fire pit area which upon using did not disappoint. In short a fantastic woodland location, which was secluded & tranquil with a hot shower just a minutes walk away.
