Food and service was lovely.. however pre booked a table for 14 people for the Sunday £24.95 per head meal deal.. paid £140 deposit.. had 2 phone calls from the restaurant prior to our booking.. Informed then both times yes we were still coming and we had payed a deposit, which they couldn't find.. gave them the card details and date I had payed.. comes to paying the bill, they had not included the deposit, had to show proof even after 2 phone calls and they added over £40 in compulsory tip which they never mentioned on the 3 phone calls I had to book this..
Extremely disappointed that they were trying to take £140 off us, charge us full price and then charge us over £40 for the pleasure.. we all ordered drinks and paid at the bar.. amazing food and great service just be prepared for them to try and completely take advantage and charge more than advertised. Disgraceful.

Great place. Food always superb. Beer always cold, Staff always welcoming. No complimentary prawn crackers now which is a shame but that aside it's one of the many excellent restaurants in Sandbach we visit regularly and will continue to do so. Pad Kra Pao is frankly superb, order a fried egg as an extra to go with it!!

I highly recommend Phanthong Thai to my friends. The service is amazing. It was a surprise that the staff sang a birthday song to my mother-in-law. She had a memorable birthday. Moreover, the food is delicious and the setting of dishes are perfect.

Enjoyed lunch with friends today. Great selection of dishes, beautifully cooked and very tasty. Staff are excellent. Great value for money so with their special Sunday offer. We will be back to try items from their a la carte menu

Curry was lovely , service exemplary as usual .. the one thing that wasn't nice was the beef used in the green curry toughest chewiest beef ever.
The beef in the musamum was nice n tender.

Classy atmosphere with the best Thai food. I was recently in Thailand and these staff are mostly Thai. They cook the most authentic Thai food that I have had outside of Thailand and I highly recommend it. Their service is outstanding and friendly

Recommended by a friend to the Phanthong Thai, Sandbach.
Great decor, friendly welcome and shown quickly to seats (we had a reservation for 4 people). The menu had plenty of options, but not too many that it was overwhelming.
The Thai crackers were really tasty. We had mixed starter and ribs to start. Then for mains, we had Pad Khing x 2, Gueyteow Kimow and Geuyteow Pas Siew. It all was delivered within good time. Good portions sizes and very tasty. There were lots of drink options too.
The staff were really friendly and attentive.
The prices are reasonable. We will definitely be returning!

Amazing restaurant. We were staying at the hotel next door to this little gem. Very authentic feeling within the restaurant, staff were so friendly and welcoming.
Food was delicious and service was a high standard.
