Didn’t get in, due to card machine not working. Not an issue with this as it wasn’t their fault. However hearing a staff member mumble about us not reading the sign about card machine not working didn’t leave a great impression, after hearing this we chose not to order tickets on our phone to get in and left.

A lovely place to visit with a 3½ year old on wet day in the Lakes. Interactive activities and a reasonably priced café too.

This was a great visit. Took me right back to my childhood. I loved the story of all the characters and the story behind Beatrix Potter herself. The models were fantastic. I would highly recommend a visit.

This is such a sweet experience to go to with loved ones. I love how descriptive it is. The figures are so well made. The gift shop has some lovely bits as well.

Went during half term on a Friday, place was too small, cramped and the price too steep for what you get. Over in less than 20 minutes, not even 1 fancy animatronic. I'm sorry, but to us it felt like a tourist trap that starts and ends in the souvenir shop.

The World of Beatrix Potter is an excellent attraction to visit if you or your children are Peter Rabbit enthusiasts! The staff were very friendly and the venue is interactive and engaging. Its also big enough for you to walk through with a buggy. Parking is within a 1 minute walk. All in all, 10/10 in my book.

Lovely displays, kids enjoyed it. However, we are toilet training our 3yr old and he needed the toilet about half way around displays as there are no toilets in the display section I literally walked through very quickly in order to take him to the toilet. The guy in the shop told me I can go back in as I had to leave for the toilet and asked where it was. Never thought anymore about as figured go back in later after looking around the shop and rest of whatever was there. Shop is expensive as expected but lovely items. I then walked into the bit where you pay and noticed another beatrix potter shop and saw a beatrix potter van outside the doors. Forgive my ignorance as never been here or to the town before. I had entered through the back door by the cafe and thought that was the entrance. So I walked through the doors to look at the second shop thinking it's part of same attraction. Only to find it's in the main town. I then went to go back into the attraction to be told your only allowed in once. Even though my husband had asked could we go through those doors to look at the other shop. Nothing was said to us about not being able to go back in and there were no signs on doors or on the ticket to say no readmittance. The 2nd shop, from inside looked like it was part of the same attraction as we had entered by the cafe side originally. We also had a disabled person with us and there are many reasons why someone may need to come back out of the display areas quickly without having a good look. So I was upset to hear that we couldn't go back in since the guy in shop had told me I could. seen as I had walked out to take little one to toilet, then through ignorance we walked to the 2nd shop. We were eventually let back in at their discretion. I said how disappointing it was in the circumstances. For the entrance fees there is not a lot there. You will walk around it fairly quickly. Didn't try the cafe. Was told though that any future visits can only walk around once. So certainly not a day out would say takes about 15-20 mins to walk around the displays. That would be with kids stopping to look etc... more like 10mins with no kids in tow. There's also a very short video before you go in. Small shop and cafe. Nothing else is there. I did see a door to a seperate theatre but wasnt included with the tickets. Don't make same mistake as me if your potty training or may need to come out quickly due to some reason before having looked around the displays. The other shop you can see is in the main street so if leaving to look at it you may not get back in. I think it needs to be written on ticket and doors no re-admittance if that's the case. if going in by the cafe you don't nessesarily know there's even a town outside the other set of doors. I thought it was all part of same attraction as it was so small. My mistake yes but others need to be aware. Especially if your not from the area

We took our little boy here for his first birthday. There is lots of steps on the outside which is difficult to access with a pram. However, we did realise in the way out there was a flat incline round the back we could have used. Our little boy way free to get in as he is under 3. Tickets came to £24 all together which was fair. This was a lovely little attraction with lots of interactive content. When you walked in it was like stepping into a book with all the lovely characters. I found it lovely that my little boy was able to feel some of the characters with some being blocked off for obvious reasons. We could get through the whole attraction with our pram with no problems. The gift shop was very expensive on the way out however this is to be expected. I would definitely recommend coming here if you are interested in Beatrix potter.

I've been visiting this attraction since the late 90s. Sadly, I wouldn't say that much of the income has been reinvested - some of the statues are at least 30-years-old. And whilst it does hold a certain... Je ne sais quoi... I must release my frustration at this stage that a trip cost me £21 to enter, £25 in a toy and £14 in cake and drinks for an attraction that is maybe 85 metres long. I love Windermere, and everything about the Lake District, but I can't help but feel this place could have reinvested an extra penny or two to bring better blend the world of Peter Rabbit (i.e. 2023/24 blockbusters) and the world of Beatrix Potter.

Great morning out with our son to explore the world Beatrix Potter created through her lovely stories.

This place is so cute, a bit young for my 9 year old but we both loved the innocence of it. Well thought out , probably better if you visot in the summer and enjoy the garden part a bit more.

Might be a children's attraction but we enjoyed it along with fantastic afternoon tea we had before leaving.
