I visited ad hoc one lunchtime following a heavy night - the team were immensely helpful agreeing to serve me from the evening menu when I was craving something different. Fast helpful and welcoming service, great views lovely food. Thank you

Personale giovane e disponibile, ambiente un po’ freddo e cibo niente di speciale. Difficile anche trovare parcheggio in zona.

I was staying in Portrush awhile ago and my uncles and I visited 55 Degrees North and had breakfast, a great fry for a reasonable price and they don't hold back on the amount of food you get to eat. Staff are lovely and view is spectacular and also disability friendly.

Was hugely looking forward to going here this evening with our Yorkie pup. Luckily we phoned in advance to book only to be told they don’t open in the evenings at this time of year. The website states otherwise - surely only a 2 minute job to update it. Careless and disappointing!!

NOT DOG FRIENDLY unless you call sitting in an albeit enclosed table area in very windy rainy conditions - not allowed inside. Only giving 1* because the Club Sandwich and chips were very good although freezing cold half way through eating it. Service was ok, but I was expected to go inside of the NOT DOG FRIENDLY cafe to get my cutlery 🤔 the aura I gave seemed to work as I was then asked if I’d like them brought out to me 🤨. ‘Dine In’ is selected but obviously I did not ‘Dine In’!!!!!!!!! Also if you are a dog owner but not great with steps and stairs don’t bother going as the area is down a lot of steps or a steepish hill.

Waiting forever to place and order and for our very mediocre and rather expensive food. Staff seem to wander around aimlessly. Busy day in the town but relatively empty and still awfully slow service.

Went for breakfast last Saturday. My self & my daughter where instructed to go down to the cafe by the chef. When we entered we went to the counter, we ordered a ulster fry & a bacon, sausage, egg bap & 2 cold drinks. Cold drinks in can no glasses. Our food arrived we had no cutlery. Located cutlery in a tray set out for diners it was filthy, dirt, fluff, hairs & goodness what else. They were tasteless over done egg, fatty bacon sausage that smelled dodgy grease dripped potato bread & uncooked soda bread. Seems like a lot of unwashed teenagers run this place.i complained to the chef after we decided to pay & leave quietly to which he sent me another piece of uncooked soda bread. Unprofessional.

For the last night of our staycation we wanted to enjoy a nice meal as a family but I was extremely disappointed with our experience at 55degrees north. I do want to say at the outset the food we got was good and enjoyable and the process of booking very simple. The restaurant was not overly busy which makes our experience even harder to understand. Bottom line- the service was ran by a group of young adults who were more interested in each other than serving tables. There was something missing at every course- my husband asked 3 times for his drink until I had to physically go to the bar to request it again. My daughter’s dinner came out 10mins after everyone else’s and by the time we waited for dessert I had given up and we left without it. A very sad end to the evening we had planned. There was no clear organisation and no one in charge. This is a shame as the location of this restaurant is magnificent- in a space with such excellent restaurants competing this restaurant is clearly just stumbling along and no one appears to care.the management team need to get it together and train the young waiters and waitresses so they know their job and how to do it well. We had a great holiday in portrush but the experience at this restaurant was just a complete disappointment

Nice views, staff friendly, service a little slow. Food was overpriced and not great quality. Expensive for what it is. Paying for the sea view
