We enjoyed a lovely stay here. Delicious food In the lounge and a warm and cosy few drinks by the open fire. Will most certainly return.

The hotel is stunning the rooms are beautiful and have a lounge sofa and chair. Views are amazing. The history of the house is fascinating. The staff cannot do enough for you and you always get a smile. We booked four nights BB and evening dinner. The menu is varied altho could do with another veggie option. Sad to leave for home tomorrow xx

Staff are amazing. But dogs barking in the hotel at 2am not good.amazing place to stay in but carpets could go a clean some painting of the rooms that are really needing a new fibe nd the whole place could go a deep clean.roof lights are screaming clean me. But the staff made my stay amazing.

There for a Christmas party. 3rd year running. It was a lot better than the previous year, more room and the meal and service was good. There was also a lot more room when eating. Round tables made it better. The disco and music kept everyone on the dance floor, and a good night was had.

We got married at the Norwood in October and I'm pretty sure if we had searched all over Scotland we couldn't have found a better place. The location was beautiful, the staff were amazing and the rooms were clean and comfortable. Our day went as smoothly as it did due to the planning that was put in place by the Norwood team, and for that we are eternally grateful!

Helaas hier een zeer teleurstellend verblijf gehad. Er was een weddingparty met luide muziek die in het hele hotel te horen was. Dat duurde tot ca. 01.00 uur. Daarna de vele luidruchtige mensen die hun hotelkamer nog moesten vinden. Om ca. 02.00 uur was het eindelijk stil. De volgende ochtend in de ontbijtzaal veel gasten met kleine oogjes vanwege de gebroken nachtrust. Op klachten wordt nauwelijks gereageerd. Het interesseert ze kennelijk weinig. Verder een mooi authentiek hotel. Jammer.

This place is elegant, vintage, and well-maintained. The hotel staff was excellent. The vibe of the hotel is quite relaxing also. I spent an hour or so in the lounge reading and enjoying some whiskey. I would recommend this place to ANYONE traveling in this area.

Stayed for a night in a really good quality room. We were hoping to have the haunted room, but it appeared to be in a different area, the old wing. The reason we chose this hotel for our holiday so of, was they allowed dogs. This is only certain areas, but they are allowed to stay in certain rooms, and they provided a doggy bag of gifts and a blanket to borrow for the stay. A beautiful property in stunning grounds, with a lovely, cosy old interior, which makes you feel like you're stepping back in time. The bar is lovely and old, with a cosy range of sofas and seating where you can relax and enjoy the range of drinks and excellent service. We tried a few Whisky's from the drinks menu, which were listed in different categories with descriptions of the flavours and where they were from. Plenty of parking near to the hotel.

Établissement situé en périphérie de la ville. Chambre propre et de bonne dimensions. (Chambre double Deluxe) Accueil passable. La majorité du personnel faisant mine de ne pas nous voir durant notre séjour. L'établissement fait régulièrement des événements (mariage par exemple) ce qui peut amener à quelques désagrément: Nous avons eu droit à l'alarme incendie au milieux de le nuit. Aucun employés ne s'est inquiété d'informer les clients de l'hôtel du fait que c'était une fausse alerte....

This hotel, situated on a beautiful estate, has old world charm with an interior lined with mahogany walls & ceilings on the ground floor. Feels luxurious inside and the staff members are some of the most professional I've experienced in many years. They treat you like you've been there plenty of times. They're as helpful as they can be even when multiple events are going on at the hotel. Their restaurant is also first class service.

Beautiful surroundings, also won awards for wedding venue of the year, chef went out of their way to make a vegetarian meal for my wife since she doesn’t like mushrooms and tomatoes and we weren’t patrons of the venue so it was much appreciated

This place could not be further away from being 4 stars. Carpet in the room is stinky and musty, the bed sheets had stains of coffee, bathroom shows signs of mould and generally not well-cleaned. Even found some mould in the kettle when trying to make a coffee in the morning. Only good this about this hotel is probably the breakfast and generally staff are friendly, but that's about it. Will not be back, thanks.

Great location, feels very rural for being within the city. Lovely wedding venue. Great staff and all around amazing effort from all ends. Would highly recommend! Lots of great photo opportunities for the wedding guests.

I called in the morning and booked the afternoon tea. When I got there, they told me there was no reservation under my name. These things can happen, the problem was how they handled the situation. They never apologized and just made it seem like it was my mistake. The waiter sat us down and told us to wait, he didn't even ask if we wanted anything to drink (which they did to the table next to us). And to top it off, when we finished, we paid at the bar and went to the toilet, then the waiter asked out loud to the other waiter if we had paid. I have lived in Aberdeen for almost two years and this was the first time I have experienced prejudice. This is the only explanation, since we were the only foreigners in the place and the treatment we received was completely different from the others that were there.

De bar en de ontbijtruimte zijn indrukwekkend door hun authenticiteit. Zeker de moeite om hier te vertoeven. Het uitzicht vanuit onze kamer was op een dak met installaties, dit deed af van het luxueuze gevoel waar we op gehoopt hadden. Er was weinig uitleg bij het binnenkomen waar alles is, waardoor het minder persoonlijk aanvoelde. Het was leuk voor 1 keer, maar we zouden dit hotel niet opnieuw bezoeken.

Attended a 4 course meal with friends for a special occasion. Food was divine and the service was top drawer. Very picturesque location and well maintained building and gardens with ample parking

I stayed here for a conference and evening function. Very attractive hotel and lots of green space. Big thumbs up for a working and easy to use EV charging point too.

A country house hotel which felt like we were but in the country but is the city of Aberdeen. Would be nicer if it had a spa though.

It was a comfortable and beautiful hotel with spacious rooms. It's a grand old house that's been converted and has an interesting story behind it too. The food was amazing! Esp the breakfast 🤭 The staff were friendly and helpful too. We were visiting RGU and so it was a convenient location for that. We didn't have a car and so we had to walk a few minutes to take a direct bus into town. Buses were pretty regular during the day but not sure at night. Either way cabs are available (but not Uber 🤭).
