Seaton Park

Fields in Trust has named Seaton Park in Aberdeen as Scotland’s favourite park in 2022. I don't know if I'd go that far but it's a pretty nice park, lots of different routes, gorgeous both in summer when in full bloom and winter when covered in snow. A popular thoroughfare with students heading from accommodation to the university but also a hotspot for dog walkers, nature enthusiast and sunbathers in summer.

Lovely park very next to Aberdeen Cathedral spreading on a big area. Best area for a walk and dog friendly too. Many people were out with their dogs for a walk even it was freezing cold. There are benches and bins around and many pathways to take for a stroll. They manage this park well. It must be best place for a picnic in summer. There’s river flowing next to it which is also very picturesque. The trails are out of dirt so if you go on the rainy day they will be muddy. There is a playground for children making it a family place. Nice big woods area which is very beautiful. Worth a walk which cost nothing.

The park is an amazing hidden pearl in Aberdeen. Perfect for family walks. Many people with dogs, unfortunately, very much shit on grass, take look were u go.

I absolutely loved going here. I would always ask my mum if we could go. It's so fun and great to go here, especially in the spring and summer, I loved playing there and taking walks around there was also beautiful. There's a cathedral which I think makes the atmosphere better and it just looks nice as well. There's also a graveyard somewhere which I find peaceful and it has a lot of history, I took maybe only 2-3 walks there in my entire life, I respected the whole area though. And the people that I've met there are funny and kind and I just have so many memories from Seaton Park. Especially when I went there with my cousin. The river is also very nice. But last not not least I don't think you need to be a specific age range to go on the slide because every time I've went to Seaton park it had a sign saying something like 6 to 14 year olds only, I can't remember what age but, It doesn't really matter. If the kid is a young, let an adult go with them and why can't older people just go slide down for fun? (Not in a weird way) but honestly, if you break any rules for the slide, nobody really cares, it doesn't matter. Anyway, I don't go to Seaton Park anymore because I moved away into a much better area but it was super nice and fun when I went there. Always. I just have so many memories.

Nice park that's well maintained, swings including an accessible chair swing, climbing tower, slides and the train is a cool idea. Some graffiti but overall a nice hour spent playing. The fountain needs some love but possibly just because I saw it in winter

Love the gardens, the Lake trail and and autumn colours A bit sad that nothing was open despite it being half term. With more openings, and a great adventure playground nearby it would become a go to place for local families. But I appreciate you can't have everything and I just love the castle building itself and the space for children to just run!!!!
