Superb meal, great service and huge range of beers.
Burgers we're great. Fresh and tasty with good sauces.
Mac and cheese stole the show. Served with brisket and bbq sauce. Absolutely delicious and huge portion.
Friendly staff and well priced.

We had burgers, they were okay but too expensive for what they were, some parts of my burger were cold, the tables were quite dirty, it was cold inside as well and we had to keep our jackets on. Not worth it.

Terrible Service (didn't even get a chance to try the food)
I ordered a takeaway of burger and chips. When I took it home the food was cold and there was no fries. I tried calling to see if they can assist with the issue, but nobody attended the call even after several attempts. When I went back the manager started by offering the fries for the inconvenience.
I live at the other side of town. There seem to no consideration for poor service and customer satisfaction.
In fairness the manager was apologetic.
I requested a refund and walked out. So far I have not seen the refund. Left a message for them to get back. No response so far.
Seems like SMOKE and SOUL do not value customer satisfaction.

Booked a table for food and drinks on Saturday night. Manager told us table service wasn’t happening cause it was too busy however, we saw 2 other tables get table service. We all went up and ordered food and drinks but got ignored for 5 minutes even though we tried to get attention. Food all came out at separate times. I do understand it’s the festive period and it is busier than usually but felt let down this was my first experience when I heard so highly of smoke and soul.

An OK modern bar, big range of keg beers. Good service. Not very well heated for a cold winter nite so only stopped for 1 beer.

Nice establishment but ultimately over priced and annoying beer menu.
Poutine (chips cheese and gravy) with some brisket ended up being something around £17, almost £20 for chips cheese and gravy......... We also got some portions of fries for about £4, there was probably about a dozen fries per portion..... So very overpriced and small portion sizes, quality was good but nothing to write home about.
Beer menu was very frustrating to access, needing to connect to the WiFi to scan their barcodes and access their beer menu online made the process feel dragged out and frustrating, as the WiFi password is not easily visible. Put it on the table! Or better yet just get a real menu. Beer was nice.
Staff were nice but took a long time to receive our food and drinks. Also the mayo was nasty, not sure if it was just my bottle.
Wouldn't really recommend.

Disappointing. Booked a table for 8:30pm for 7 people to eat, not informed that the kitchen closes at 8:30. Showed up and swiftly left. Would be good to be made aware that no food would have been available when booking!

We made a booking for 20:30 on a Friday night for 7 people and were told the kitchen was shut when we arrived… surely somebody would let us know before we arrive that we are welcome to come for drinks but not food 😂 they said when we arrived that they assumed it was just drinks - really not what we expected at all. Anyway…

Server took a while to serve us. Once we ordered drinks it took over 20 minutes to get them. I reminded the server after 10 minutes and she seemed very confused. Food was fine, poutine was very salty so couldn't finish it.

Dined here on Sat and it was class. One of those gaffs where you want 1 of everything on the menu. Really tough choices have to be made ! :-)
Service was really friendly, and the *OPTIONAL* 10% service charge was explained. (I didn't remove it btw).
I'm not one of those God awful IPA goons and when I explained this to the barman he was really friendly & totally cool about it, suggested a couple of beers, and let me try them so I could pick one.
Will definitely return at some point. Good work.

Overpriced and underwhelming. We were looking forward to eating here however the food is a disappointment. It just doesn't live up to what you'd expect from the place as its rather dry and bland and costs a fair amount. There is no kids menu available and the toilet facilities are poor with obscene graffiti over the walls.

I couldn't fault the waitress, but the rest of the experience was quite disappointing.
When we arrived, the table was dirty and lacked cutlery or napkins. When our food arrived, the cutlery was thrown onto the still-dirty table. To make matters worse, the utensils looked barely cleaned, which made us uneasy about the cleanliness of the glasses we were drinking from.
As others have mentioned, the burger was the driest and blandest I’ve ever tasted, worse than a typical fast-food burger, and was missing bacon. The macaroni, on the other hand, was cold throughout. While I’m sure the waitress would have reheated it, by that point, my appetite was gone.
The waitress kindly took 15% off the bill and apologized, but unfortunately, I can't recommend dining here. It’s a shame because the menu looked quite appealing.

We went for the first time tonight and had an amazing time. We were taken care of by Kitty and Morgan who both did an excellent job of making us feel welcome. There had a small miscommunication with our order that they quickly fixed, with a discount for the inconvenience on top of everything. Food was insanely good and there was an excellent selection of beers. Would recommend highly.

The burger I ordered was so dry I had to add ketchup, could of made a better one at home, I ordered a portion of chicken and I couldn’t believe how small the portion was, absolutely shocking, total rip off, will never be back. AVOID AVOID AVOID!!!
