Popped into The Creggans for a quick spot of lunch. Coffee was piping hot, rich and strong. Roaring fire kept the dog friendly side warm. Good food, great service, fantastic Craig. What more could you desire?

We had a one night stay recently and have nothing but praise for the hotel. The room was huge with a view over Loch Fyne. The general ambience of the place was quite homely and the food was excellent. Would certainly stay here again.

Great location, food was expensive for quality provided. Overall the facility could do with a makeover and some TLC.

Bel maison au bord de l'eau. Bon petit déjeuner. Nuit calme. Un petit salon à l'étage pour se délasser en dehors de sa chambre.

Went the the Creggans in for our 15th anniversary for a cheeky night away without the kids. Love this place, we had one of the loch view rooms which was simply spectacular. The food was exceptional and the staff were so helpful and friendly. This is an absolute wee gem on the west coast. The chowder that my wife had for dinner is something we agree we would happy travel 100s of miles for just to sample it. Fresh produce, beautifully cared for and well made. We plumped the extra money for breakfast in bed and a late checkout allowing for a very relaxed morning. Breakfast was brilliant, I had the eggs benedict and my wife the french toast. She also had the grapefruit that had a creme brulee style sugar crust on it. Which apparently was so good that she will never eat grapefruit unless it's like that again. The marmalade is also the best thing in the world. Highly reccomend this place, the owners have done a wonderful job of making a lovely retreat to recharge indulge and enjoy.

We stayed for two nights and had a great time. The staff were friendly. The location was excellent and our wee dog was well accommodated, they provided him with boiled eggs at breakfast time. Our room was large, comfortable and looked out to the sea. Food was generally good and the staff dealt promptly with our issue with a noisy neighbour who fell asleep with the tv on.

We arrived at 2pm on a Thursday in July and the bar food service had just stopped shame but the view from the front garden more than made up for the food. The service was friendly and the pub clean.

We only came for dinner. Service was OK, nothing special. We received our food very quickly, it just came without a smile... Food was nice, but very small portions, the fish tartar was so small and the tempura cauliflower was just 3 pieces... So don't come here hungry. For two starters, two mains and two drinks we paid £68... It was OK, but I would suggest travelling further for better value.

We did'nt stay in the rooms but we had a meal. Very clean and presented restaurant. Friendly and helpful staff. Very nice food and great service. Lovely view of the loch and a memory stone informing of Queen of Scots landing there in 1573.

We went for a scenic drive and found The Creggans Inn. We decided to have a bite to eat & the Highland Coo steak and Ale pie, and it was absolutely delicious. Lunch was from 12 until 2 pm & dinner times were 6 until 8 pm. Our time felt rushed to order and eat because of those times, but it was very enjoyable nonetheless.

We visited Creggans for an evening meal, staying in a cottage locally. We found the restaurant quite appealing and nicely furnished, though a bit lacking in atmosphere. Our food was just ok. We shared pitta breads and hummus for a starter .. the hummus was tasty, the pitta breads warm). One main course was a steak pie.... the meat was beautifully cooked, too much actually, but the 'pie' only comprised a separately cooked thick overly-flaky cushion of puff pastry balanced on top. The vegetables were nice, tasty, well-cooked. The other main course was the fish pie ... this was a fairly small portion, but hot and nicely cooked (presumably microwaved from a previously prepared portion), good quality prawns & white fish, but a little under-seasoned. It would've been nice to have a piece of crunchy bread on the side, especially for a contrast in texture, and to mop up the sauce at the end (luckily I kept a small piece of pitta bread from the starter as I thought from the menu description that this might've been a short-coming). We didn't try the desserts. The Fyne Ales Highlander beer was very good and reasonably priced, tho the pint of lime & soda was overpriced.
