We very much enjoyed our stay and recommend Ashley House as the perfect place to stay on a visit to Dundee. A great location in Broughty Ferry and a gateway to exploring coastal Angus. We were comfortable, very well fed and entertained at breakfast by the effervescent host. A very welcoming small guest house.

Stayed here for 3 nights 18th-20th July my husband myself and our little border terrier, our bedroom had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, our double bed had lovely crisp fresh sheets and pillows for a lovely nights sleep the whole room was spotlessly clean. Ashley house is 10mins from Castle, beach and shops if you have your car with you you can park in Darrens big driveway. Would stay here the next time we come to Broughty Ferry its almost home from home. well done Darren

We had a wonderful stay at Ashley House Guest House. It was hard to find on the road at first, but if you look around while at the light you can see the entrance before you pass it. Our hosts went above and beyond to make us comfortable and help us feel welcome. I was fighting morning sickness in a new pregnancy and they provided herbal teas to help with my nausea. Darrin also packaged my breakfast for me to nibble on slowly after I struggled with eating in the morning. We loved how comfortable the rooms are, the location is close to much to do only a couple blocks down the road, and we took time to see local sights before leaving. Will stay here again if we travel back in future.

Highly recommend Ashley House, Darren and Margaret are superb hosts. Very very clean, excellent breakfast. Lovely rooms. Location is excellent, close to shops, restaurants, bus stop and train station. Our 3rd stay and will definitely be back. The perfect B&B.

This is exactly what a good B & B should be. Comfy, quiet rooms that make you feel instantly at home and relaxed; a great host, Darren, a real friendly chatty character; and tasty breakfast. The house is just a short walk from Broughty ferry, a lovely little town with a good choice of places for a coffee or a meal. We will definitely stay again if we are back in the area.

We had a great stay at Ashley House. The host is very friendly and considerate, the room was spacious and comfortable and the breakfast was excellent. Broughty Ferry also offers a lot of restaurants and bars, all within a short walk.

This is second time I've visited Ashley House and I've really enjoyed my stay again. Very close to the town centre and Darren and Margaret are lovely hosts. Very welcoming and friendly. A lovely substantial breakfast is included which fills you up for the day. We will definitely be back next time in the area.

Geweldige mensen! Schone en nette kamer en kwamen zonder te reserveren. Dit was geen probleem en de gastheer maakte de kamer nog even netjes voor ons! Ontbijt was erg goed en kwamen niks tekort! Ga je deze plek bezoeken kies dan zeer zeker voor deze b&b!!

We enjoyed our stay at Ashley House whilst in Dundee visiting our son. Darren and Margaret were very welcoming and made us and our dogs feel at home. Our room was large, very comfortable and clean. The hotel is walking distance from the beach, perfect for the early morning dog walks. We enjoyed an excellent breakfast cooked by Darren. We look forward to staying again later in the year.

I stayed here one night after working in Scotland for two days. I booked the hotel room through Hotels.com and I have to say it was much much more than I expected. The bed was much comfier than most hotel beds and the bathroom was the size of some hotel rooms. There was a TV and a DVD player and a huge selection of DVD's outside the room in a cabinet to choose from. Breakfast was included in the price. I have to thanks Darren for being so accommodating. I would not hesitate to stop there again if I was ever in the Dundee area. If you are coming across this review as you need accommodation if you are playing Golf at Carnoustie nearby, the guest house is only 6 miles away I think and Darren himself is a keen golfer so he would love the conversation.

Bought a car from the dealer close by, as I live 410 miles from Broughty Ferry, booked a B&B to stop before the day of purchase. Darren the owner was very polite and friendly. Room was clean and tidy and excellent breakfast. Good value for money too. Jim Carroll Hereford
