I'd never been to strichen before, so I had no idea what the Lodge Restaurant would be like. However, it was lovely, set in a beautiful park with its own loch, the Lodge was warm and welcoming. The food was good, the helpings generous, and the staff friendly and helpful. I'll definitely be back!

Popped in for lunch today. I think we we were lucky to get a table. All of the food we ordered was lovely. I would certainly go there again.
Only downside was parking. Very small bays with almost no chance of being able to open the door sufficiently.

Been multiple times. Staff are always very friendly, attentive and respectful. Always great food, we take away fine pieces for a cuppa tea at home all the time, the portion sizes when you sit in are extremely generous. Always have and are. Scones are MASSIVE and tasty 😋

Very popular as food is very good and not too expensive. Can get very busy so best to book. Noise calming measures in place but still a bit loud when busy however it doesn't put us off. Very helpful staff.

Lovely local cafe. Great selection of dandeiches wraps. Soup and some mains and amazing puddings and cakes. Definitly worth a visit on the doorstep of lar and wood walks

Sat outside with our dogs, mild February day, and had a lovely takeaway of Soup, Sandwich and Butternut Squash Chips.... toilet immaculate!
Had it permitted dogs inside it would have been 5/5 :-)!

Good fresh coffee and assortment of treat eats, but disappointing stops serving hot food and hour and a half before closing? Nice and warm for a stop after a walk round about, but not a chill out unwind pit stop.

Coffee is abysmal. Just tastes burnt.
Soup seemed to be just tinned.
Price OK, but not for the portion size.
Staff were friendly but service erratic. For me missed the mark.
