Visited recently for the first time in a long time. The food was delicious, everything was cooked well and very crispy, just how I like it but we ordered chips and curry and we were given chips and cheese.
Staff aren't very organised, it was quite chaotic, definitely need to get organised better!
Many items were out of stock, decor is the same as I remember 20 years ago, no prices on menu, etc.

Food is always good can't fault it best choppy in girvan food wise service is terrible
Ordered 3 times each time something missing
1st time no sauce or fillings on burger
2nd time juice and portion chips missing
3rs time battered sausage missing
And trying to get them to answer the phone is like hens teeth
Food is top notch though

Massive portions of really tasty fish and chips. Staff absolutely exhausted after a day when it was the only chippie in Girvan, but still soldiering on

Only had chips and although the shop was busy the chips weren't great. I didn't know if was possible to get chips so poor. The potatoes tasted rubbish. Also staff busy chatting and hardly had time for customers.

Sorry, but good god no. The place looks like it did 25 years ago. They were out of a few things and for £24 for really small portions was a joke and to be honest it looked like a good scrub would give it life.

Recently came to Girvan on a holiday, the service was excellent, extremely friendly staff who also brought a dog bowl with water and treat for our dog who was welcome to sit in the restaurant area. The food was delicious and as a family of 5 reasonably priced and we all thoroughly enjoyed it.

stood for 15/20 mins for fresh chips and on opening the bags they did not look freshly cooked, most of suppers went in the bin
