The restaurant has a great atmosphere. There isn't a huge selection of food but what they have is very tasty. Excellent service and good prices. Recommended.

I've been coming here for many years with different owners, however recently it's a new chef and his curry's aren't great at all. I think my golden banquet days have now come to an end and I'll eat elsewhere. Staff lovely however we don't come to see staff we come to eat and enjoy the food.

Frozen food wouldn't recommend. Service is slow too even though the restaurant wasn't busy. It has given me food poisoning and stomach ache.

The food choices was very limited and poor. The food was not tasty at all and clearly old reheated food. I wouldn't recommend at all.

We gest had dinner last night with the kids at Golden Grouse and yes absolutely waisted off money all the food cold dry can eat anything my wee girl can eat nothing not pizza available we ask for pizza and they ask what do wee want to be on after 5 min bring 2 slices off cheese pizza if I can call cheese pizza who’s frozen pizza heated up absolutely waisted 75£ 2 adults and 2 children. About dessert i took a square cheese cake and look like ben defrost I gest left it absolutely disgusting . Other food dry 2 choices off curry with crust at the top. Never again.

I recently visited golden grouse and had an incredible experience. The ambiance was inviting, and the staff was attentive and friendly. The food was absolutely delicious.Everything was served fresh and on time. I also appreciated the cleanliness and overall presentation of the restaurant. I’ll definitely be coming back and recommending it to friends and family. Keep up the great work!

Please do not waste your hard earned money! Visited tonight for dinner and it was just a complete let down. I feel robbed! Staff friendly and polite and place is clean but that's as far as it goes for positives. Global food? Absolutely dire. It's mainly Indian with some cheap frozen pizzas and nuggets thrown in for good measure. In one tub was roast beef that was like shoe leather and chips with a very thin tasteless gravy on them. There was about 3 items in the Chinese section and of those the 'egg fried rice' had about 4 different chopped square vegetables in it and no egg to be seen, obviously a frozen pack of some sort. The sweet and sour chicken was bone dry chicken soaked in Indian spices and then sat in a weird sweet and sour sauce that only tasted of ketchup? The desserts included what looked like broken up squares of jelly from the packet not even made up with hot water? The ice cream was cheap and nasty and the chocolate in the fountain had a cheap foreign chocolate taste to it. Nothing was authentic, nothing was cooked very well and nothing tasted nice im afraid. What a waste of good money. Husband said the best part of it was the door out of it. Won't be back

Dunno how this place has good reviews because honestly it was barkin, dry and bland and honestly I’m not one for putting review's up that often. Pints were rotten also, £56 for absolute garbage. Friday night and there was 6 people there which speaks volumes, Avoid.

Walked in at 7pm Thursday night. Was 3 other tables. Instantly noticed atmosphere was off. Music very disco club like and just zero ambience at all….
The food - well where to start… the worst buffet offering I’ve ever seen. Chicken chat - dry and chewy. Chicken pakora - tasted about a week old, chewy, dry & almost inedible. Pepper chicken - drowned in sweet sauce (likely to cover the taste of the poor quality, dried out, chicken!!),
Main courses - no difference between chicken chasni and chicken South Indian garlic chicken. Same dry tasteless chicken. Sauces bland and over coloured. Lamb Bhuna was ok.. and that’s a push. Again salty, poorly spiced and generally zero effort made…
Had to laugh - British section… chicken nuggets, onion rings and sausage rolls… all of which looked dry as a bone under heat lights. Italian - didn’t go near the mac and cheese or meatballs as it looked so unappealing. Did try a slice of pizza - wish I hadn’t. Dry cardboard would’ve probably tasted better.
Desserts - not sure about you but I’ve never had jelly with a crust on it before… the cakes looked like they might injure me so avoided. Chocolate fountain was cheap nasty chocolate tasting and the ice cream had zero flavour.
Best thing about the experience was the Diet Coke I ordered. Will not be back.
The audacity to call this a global banquet is beyond criminal.
You should be ashamed of this level of effort and if you think this is representative of Indian cuisine then my suggestion if you’ve never been…..
Avoid…..
Also if you are Muslim and require halal meat don’t go here… the menu states “ not all of our food is not halal” whatever that means….

For a small buffet the food needs to be good …… and it certainly is . A little gem this place .Starters are spot on , everyone of them 👍🏻. Mains as well… Italian section is descent no complaints , mac n cheese , pizza n meatballs 👍🏻 …. So as you might have guessed I thoroughly enjoyed eating at this establishment 👌 thank you!
