The food is quality, although the portions are small. The service is good too however the atmosphere could be improved. It’s a luxury restaurant but the interior does not reflect this

Had to try Ox & Finch after high praise and it did not disappoint. Went for a birthday dinner a few weeks ago and the way it works makes so much sense if you go with a few friends as you can try loads of different plates. Unfortunately I am too impatient to take photos but even then they don't do it justice, but compliments to the chefs. They cater to vegetarians with a separate menu as there are small changes and it keeps it simple. Great wine, unforgettable food, and brilliant service. Looking forward to our next night out at Ox & Finch. Thank you!

I had a really good experience on my first visit, but never again. When the manager made a mistake, instead of apologising, he will come out with 50 different excuses to confuse you. Not a way to do business

Amazing food for a fair price. Our waiter was great and even gave us a list of recommendations for our trip through Glasgow unprompted.

This was one of the top five meals of my LIFE. I’m from San Diego, CA and found this place on a whim. INCREDIBLE. Every dish is one phenomenal thing after another. My husband and I got 10 dishes between us. The fried artichokes changed my life. Thank you chefs!

Every dish we've had has been full of flavour and excellent. Well worth a visit if you can get a table.

We had such fantastic food, one of the best meals we’ve had in ages. Every dish was a delight. It’s also a lovely light airy space with big windows and knowledgeable staff. Can’t wait to go back to Glasgow just to eat here!

Karen and I thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience at Ox and Finch, sampling a variety of dishes. We ordered the following: Sourdough and butter – Fantastic, with excellent texture in the bread. Cod cheeks, chorizo, tomato, and morcilla on toasted sourdough – One of my favourites. A plating suggestion: placing the sourdough on the side may prevent it from becoming overly moist and tough. Ricotta gnocchi, pea purée, and pistachio pesto – Not our favourite. The pesto had a strong minty/herbaceous taste, would have loved if it was overpowering the pistachio and cheese (as it reads). Confit duck leg, sour cherry, radish, and buttered cabbage – The duck was succulent, but the radish and cabbage were rather bland. 200g dry-aged bavette with chimichurri – Unfortunately, the bavette was overly chewy, and the chimichurri lacked balance, with too much cilantro and no spice or acidity. Chips with roast garlic aïoli – The chips were great, but the aïoli was disappointing, tasting more like store-bought mayo without the rich garlic flavour. Overall, our experience was enjoyable, and we’re looking forward to your new venture on Miller Street and reoping of Ox and Finch after its renovation, hopefully with a refreshed menu. A quick suggestion: When serving to a table of two with multiple orders, it would be better to slow down the pace. We felt slightly rushed as the dishes arrived too quickly.

One of the best places I ate at in Scotland. Made a reservation for lunch for four people beforehand and you must pay a small deposit. Indoor dining only. Even on a weekday at 12:30, the place was buzzing. Restrooms are on the bottom floor. Credit cards accepted. They have plenty of wine options and also have tap water. The ambiance is casual but it’s a cute, airy spot. It’s industrial looking with high ceilings and would be great for a date. Food-wise, we ordered the following: - Sourdough and butter - a classic start. A bit basic, but when when you’re in the UK, you want to take advantage of being able to enjoy their dairy. - Whipped feta - my favorite part of the meal. This came with pita bread and the feta was nice and creamy. We ate the leftover feta with our other bread. - Skate wing - Skate is a fish (didn’t know they before but you learn something new every day). It’s a larger cut and good for a group that’s hungry but still wants to be healthy. - Ricotta gnocchi: a table favorite. The sauce was so fresh and you could lick the plate clean. - Pan fried pork belly - not my favorite, but it was tender - Tender stem broccoli - a standard veggie dish that is on the smaller side - Green beans - I would highly recommend getting this. The mascarpone and the ‘nduja elevated this dish. - Grilled ox tongue - it was very tender and was well offset by the pickled veggies

Ox and Finch is a well established restaurant in business already for 10 years. Book about 2 weeks ahead if you want to enjoy an evening meal there. Lunch is good too and it has the same menu. Much easier to snag a table midday. We enjoyed each small plate we shared. The whipped feta was creamy and smooth with a touch of honey and oregano lovely on the pita bread. The beef bavette had great flavour and was oh so tender. The duck confit with the cherries and cabbage was easily our favourite. Simply great flavour combinations. All topped off with a delicate panna cotta with sour cherries and crunchy hazelnuts. Yum. The wine list was creative and interesting. Lots of good things to choose from.

First day in Glasgow and tired from the long plane ride and quick Kelvingrove Museum visit, so we decided to recharge at Ox and Finch. I had saved it to Maps but had forgotten the reason until I sat down to the menu. Amazing food? Yes, please! Servers were patient with walking us through on the best way to order (all at once since dishes are served as they are done) and the excellent recommendation of the cod cheeks. Food was perfectly balanced with all the right flavors working together to treat your taste buds to an unforgettable dining delight. This one is going on our recommendation list and will be a must return when we come back to Glasgow.

Upon a friend’s earnest recommendation, I took it upon myself to visit Ox and Finch. To say I was astonished would be an understatement – the experience far exceeded any expectation I had dared to hold.

Glasgowa yolunuz düşerse mutlaka rezervasyon yaparak gitmeniz gereken bir restaurant. Rezervasyon olmadan yer bulmak biraz zor olabiliyor. Yemekler lezzetli servis hızlı. Ana yemek olarak bavette çok lezzetliydi, sulu ve tam kıvamında pişmiş. Ayrıca Nogan şefe tekrar teşekkürler ve selamlar

Ox and Finch was a highlight of our time in Glasgow! The entire meal was delicious from start to finish, with amazing service throughout. Vibes inside were buzzing and inviting, and the drink selection was great. I would definitely recommend others prioritize a visit.
