This is the fourth time I have been since the re-opening and each time, I am always impressed by the food and the staff.
Always a warm welcome in a comfy environment.
Heartily recommend the fillet steak with a nice bottle of malbec

Ran by a lovely girl. The staff are also very friendly. Spent last New year there...a great night.
Booked for a Christmas night this year too.
Food is really good.
Got a girls night soon too for cocktail night.

Came for breakfast last Saturday and enjoyed it so much that we came back again today - definitely recommend the pancakes, bacon and maple syrup 😋

Popped in for a pitstop beverage with 1 of my pups.
We didn't try the food as we were short on time but will be back 100%.
Great service & felt very much looked after.

My daughter and I had lunch today ,the meal was well presented, nice and hot and very delicious, the staff were very professional and friendly couldn't fault it ,well done to all the staff for making it an enjoyable experience and will definitely be back.

Festive lunch for a group of 7. Festive menu had plenty to choose from, food was lovely, speed of service was great. Staff friendly and accommodating even when a dish had to be changed.

Brilliant night at the Steadings party night. Food was served quickly and everybody really enjoyed it. They had lots of gluten free options/alternatives which was great. Staff were lovely and really helpful. Dancefloor was full all night, music was great. Fab night!

My son and I went for lunch yesterday. Meal was fantastic. Pan fried Salmon on a bed of crushed potatoes with Brussel sprouts. So yummy. 10/10. Excellent service.

Party night last night was superb
Always a challenge to cater for a big crowd but you smashed it !Food was tasty n hot ,where it needed to be .Staff were fast ,friendly ,energetic and enthusiastic. Nothing was too much bother ! Bar staff were plentiful and smart .Live music was first class and got everyone on the floor from the get go ! Well done Steadings !

First time at the steadings and Attended our works Christmas party night on Friday! Food was amazing, staff were friendly and helpful, the band were fantastic.

Christmas party night. However, where we were seated was right in between the speakers so voukd hardly hear each other. Staff friendly but looked overwhelmed with the number of parties that were in.
Food was OK colleagues had some food which was cold in middle or too hard.. to many small things that made it memorable for the wrong reasons, I dont think i will be going back

Lunchtime treat for a birthday spoiled by very slow service with no apology during service. Ended up leaving without sweet after a 15 minute wait for the menu which didn't arrive.
That said food was lovely, 3 different dishes had within the group and all good.

Lovely wee weeknight steak dinner with hubby and son. Steak could not have been any better - beautifully cooked, perfectly presented, hot and spot on seasoning, all served by friendly, polite, attentive staff. Well done, we'll definitely be back soon.

My husband had 3 courses tonight and really enjoyed the special menu. I'm boring and have allergies so stuck to one of my usual choices which was also very tasty. So glad we have a Local again. Great staff xx

Out for a meal with my friend last night 30/10/24 to the steadings.. food was just short of terrible!! We ordered beef fajita and a creamy pasta dish. Both were pretty bad. Waiter asked if we'd enjoyed and we told him no not really. Steak for fajita was tough fajitas themselves were dry and hard. Pasta dish was oily not creamy. We had btl of wine and couple liquors and left.
Very disappointed as thought the steadings had regained a better reputation. In total incl. drinks came to £70+ no starter no sweet !! Will not be returning again soon im sorry to say.

We were offered the main menu and the brunch menu. We ordered from the main menu, starters of brushcetta and mini ceaser salad they were both very very good. Main was steak pie and macaroni with bacon again they were fab couldn't fault the food or service. We will be back again I will be sampling more cocktails x

Had lunch today at 12:00pm. Service was excellent, young man who served us was excellent , he was very pleasant, very knowledgeable . He explained about the gluten free menu to Jacqueline, which was great. We both had fish&Chips mine in bread crumbs Jacqueline in gluten free batter. Excellent portion size and well plated . Thank you very much
