Brilliantly curated converted farm. Quirky, tasty and the best hosts. A touch of magic and madness brings this place together. Set on the loch surrounded by the hills. Come rain or sun this place is spectacular. Whether it is for a treat or a moment to relax this is the perfect spot. Don’t forget the breakfast. A brilliant selection on offer to start your day.

Such a fun and special place. We celebrated a 50th bday and had two rooms (5 & 6). Scenery is stunning, delicious food and drinks, creative and welcoming design, such warm hospitality from Tom and impeccable service from the whole team. It’s the perfect laid back luxury getaway, with the right amount of quirk thrown in for good measure.

Hotel rooms and location is lovely. However you are a captive. The meal we had was disappointing. Read other reviews which were positive. Our meal was just adequate but very expensive for what we got..£85 pp! Wasn't justified.

A spectacular, remote setting in a lovely part of Scotland. We had a beautiful day to appreciate the locale - Loch Voil & Loch Doine on either side of the hotel. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Mhor is less (than one star) Big sign out the front saying walkers welcome. Different story when you go in and ask for a pint though, "exclusive access only" apparently. Very exclusive access indeed it would seem on account of absolutely no one being there

Had a private wine safari and was excellent start to finish. Tom was a great guide, the hospitality, food and wine were fantastic. The whole day was amazing and would recommend to anyone

We only visited the restaurant as outside guests and the experience was well worth the drive. Beautifully located hotel with a very cozy and elegant dining room. The restaurant only offers a tasting menu that is absolutely worth the money. Very well executed fish and meat dishes, a very decent cheese plate as dessert option… nice selection of well chosen wines. Cute and friendly service.

Fantastic place - didn't stay here, just ate in the restaurant with some friends and the food and service were amazing, can't recommend it highly enough. The scallop starter was delicious, so tasty, and the venison main was the best venison I've had, really tender and not too strong a flavour. Finished off with the panacotta, again it was perfect, melt in your mouth. All the amuse bouches in between courses were a lovely extra, all delicious. Lovely drive up to get there as well, just allow plenty of time and look out for the stags.

A hidden gem - truly exceptional! My partner and I experienced their wine & whisky safari and stayed overnight in the tree house accommodation - we absolutely loved it! The location, the friendly staff, and the great value for money made it an outstanding experience!

The review is for the restaurant. We were there tonight. The food was great. The service at the beginning was good but towards the end experience ruined it all. We finished our meal and waited for the whole hour for someone to bring us our check! There were only two other tables at the restaurant during this time. One table next to us got there well after us, yet they received their check. We just sat and sat and no one would bother come check on us. At the end after being ignored by the staff we had to walk to the exit, ask for the check and pay there. This is not the kind of service you expect when you pay $140 for dinner for one person! I don't recommend this restaurant despite good food. Overpriced for the kind of service you get.

Not quite good enough for the price point. Laundry lying about. Distracted staff. Why bolt a shipping container on to a lovely house and try to get away with it by painting it pink. Sorry. Not ok

I liked it and would like to go back. Very quirky though. The front pink paint on the historic building is awful and at least our room was tiny. Most unfortunately the shower hot water was scalding and could not be turned cooler. The food was very good to excellent served by knowledgeable staff. The owner was a hoot and the group areas always lead to fun interactions. Very dog friendly. You will pass Rob Roy's grave on the way there.

We travelled from Devon with our two young children to stay in one of Monachyle Mhor's cabins. We had excellent coms with Brandon both in the run up and throughout our stay; he went out of his way to host us with warmth, kindness and humour. The hotel location is extraordinary, it felt cinematic from beginning to end. It was evident that family runs through the heart of the business and the owners want you to feel a part of that from the moment you arrive. Monachyle Mhor is 100% worth a visit. We also stopped in at Mhor 84 which carried the same charm. It was pot luck that we found this lovely lot but we're so glad we did.

We stayed for two nights in the Corr Cabin & it was a fantastic couple of days. Everything about Monachyle Mhor was incredible, the location, the people & the food. Even though our Cabin was self-catering, we treated ourselves to dinner in the restaurant one night & it was outstanding. Amazing food, wine & service. We will definitely be coming back, thank you!
