Very interesting visit to the Burns house Museum in Mauchline. Entry to the Museum is free and the staff on duty were very polite and helpful.

This was an unexpected find, but glad we called in. A small museum but very well set out and very informative. If you are driving through Mauchlin flow the signs to the car park then there is a 5 minutes walk back up to the main street through very interesting alleys. The whole stop could be less than an hour, but it would be an hour well spent.

I gave this place 4 stars even though I'm disabled and couldn't go in, my wife went in and videod it for me.
It's easy for the trustees to say it's an old building so can't be made disabled friendly.
Sorry guys make a DVD and sell it, you would be quid in and make money
