Popped in on a Thursday night, staff were all very friendly and efficient, service great.
Portions were huge and food well presented & tasty.
King prawn puri was delicious, as was the tandoori sea bass which was served with rice and a lovely sauce.
The hulk kebab was definitely aptly named!

Me and my partner just had a meal for the 1st time for here and I’ve got to say it’s the best curry I’ve ever had in this country- they aren’t afraid to use spices and the food has so much flavour. Most places we have been to it’s like there afraid to use spice but not this place! The food was perfect. The staff are so kind and helpful too if I could rate more than 5 stars I would give the staff 10/10. Another thing too, the restaurant and the bathrooms are so clean. Would highly recommend this restaurant!!

Food was really good service excellent except order everything at beginning as I forgot the riata and asked for some twice but no luck.
Would not detract from experience though.

Lovely restaurant. Food was great, full of flavour. Good selection of vegetarian and vegan options, waiting staff were knowledgeable about what breads/rice's and sundries could be made vegan.

Absolutely stunning food which has become our benchmark for all other comparisons. Honestly, feels Michelin star. Quality is superb and the flavours are exceptional. Would highly recommend for dining in and don't let the lower star reviews who are complaining about delivery times, put you off experiencing this fabulous Indian restaurant in person. We'll be back!

We have been on a 3-week-trip around Scotland and tried many different Indian restaurants. This was one of the best and we ordered there twice. The take-away meal deals are good value for money and we liked that they have a mix and match meal deal too where you can choose any 2 curries + 2 rice + 1 naan + Pakora + Poppadoms for 25 pounds. The curries are very tasty and my favourite was the La-Jawab. I wish we had stayed longer in the area and could have tried more curries from the huge menu. Only the Naan was too thick and fluffy for my taste, I prefer it when it is thinner. I wish they were open also for lunch or a little bit earlier in the afternoon. Also it would be great if you could choose your starter (like Samosas or Garlic Mushrooms) in the mix and match deal so it is easier to try more different meals. Unfortunately, we could not order online as we did not have a UK phone number which is mandatory. Anyway, the food was really good and staff very nice, I strongly recommend this restaurant!

Discovered the Sher-E-Bangla in Montrose yesterday - absolutely B A N G I N G - as well as the "mock meat" options they have lots of veggie side dishes (if mock meat isn't your thing), forgot to take pics of our starters - poppadoms, onion chutney (very moreish) and onion bhaji with 3 sauces. The mock meat was cubed, "chicken"-style, soya-based stuff, nice texture and flavour. 10/10 would recommend, absolutely over the moon to have discovered this.

Ordered a takeaway from here tonight at 6.20pm was told it would be an hour and ten minute. Still wasn’t here by 8pm to be told it would be another half an hour. Absolutely ridiculous. The girl on the phone was lovely and was very apologetic even though it’s not her fault. Have ordered from here before and never been an issue but definitely won’t order again.
