Came during September 2024 - great mussels, great smoked salmon sandwich, and great prices. One of the highlights of our Scotland trip! Note - cash only!

We got in a stop here during our 2015 visit. My travelling companion had to find this place due to having had seafood on the dock some 20 years previous. This was the first time I had ever tried Langoustines (with the head still attached). This culinary expedition might be for some. Needless to say, all the food was very very fresh..

Delightful little seafood hut, doing fresh local produce at decent, good value prices - what could be better! Hot food such as mussels and scallops probably slightly better than the cold platter but that's a trifling detail. I would strongly recommend, that if in Oban, that you give this place a go - just remember it's more a takeaway/eat on the quayside set up rather than a sit down restaurant. Sets the standard for seaside seafood across the UK - it's going to be hard to find better!

So glad we stopped here on our drive through the area, so many amazing seafood options to try! We had the tub of mussels, delicious! Highly recommend!

Perfect oister and crab food at low prices in an unbeatable Scottish atmosphere. Our friend described it as follows: It's cold you are standing in the rain and the dog is chasing seabirds while you are trying to eat. What more can you expect ? I loved it.

I am very sorry that I have not eaten, but I am here to comment, but I would like to know whether you will be open between December 28 and 30 this year? I really want to taste delicious seafood, but I am very afraid that you will not open.

W dniu 9 listopada byłam w Oban i chciałam spróbować lokalnego specjału, ale niestety budka była zamknięta a w internecie podają błędne informacje, że jest otwarta. Niestety nie mogę powiedzieć czy było dobre na dzień dzisiejszy. Nie polecam !!!

Andateci assolutamente. Veloci e cordiali, preparano sul momento il pescato del giorno. Il rapporto qualità prezzo è incredibile, anzi, a mio parere è a buon mercato per la quantità e la qualità che offrono. Da non perdere

The place you must visit for Scotland seafood. Cheap price with fast services and most important fresh seafoods. Although a long queue there, it’s still fast to order. No need photos for this hut. If you are going to Oban for seafoods, this is the one you can’t miss.

Mussels in the white wine and garlic were to die for. I came up from Edinburgh for a day trip simply to demolish these mussels before the shack shut for the winter.

Yes. It's a shack. No toilets, but you can find them in the ferry terminal next door. The scots do not like sharing their toilets. The oysters were huge. A dozen is too much for one person. The mussels looked good, but we had no room after oysters. They do not believe in cocktail sauce, so bring your own and your own wine too. You probably will be standing at a grubby table. But still a worthwhile experience. They close around 530p.
