Just back from an overnight celebrating a special birthday for a family member (a party of 14). The rooms were lovely and done to an excellent standard. Radiators were hot and rooms were lovely and cosy which is exactly what you want in November! The staff in the hotel were excellent, litterally every single member of staff we came across on our trip was absolutely lovely and really helpful, which can really put you at ease and help you settle in quickly - particularly on a short trip in a new place to allow you to relax and make the most of it. We had an 8 year old with us who was very taken at all the lovely touches in the family room. The small kids bath toys encouraged her to have a pre dinner bath which she really enjoyed (beautiful bathroom) and allowed us to relax. The childrens menu had good choice and was of an excellent quality. A lovely cosy bar area and the food in the restaurant both for our family meal in the private dining room for 14 people and at breakfast the next morning was outstanding. As a customer the service throughout the hotel was absolutely exceptional. We wanted for nothing. Thank you for an outstanding stay.

Great place, great location. Room was lovely, nice and quiet. The breakfast was amazing, everything was such great quality. We had dinner there too, would highly recommend it.

Haddock, black pudding and crimson eggs were excellent for breakfast.
I found the staff, service and rooms very endearing. Get the fishing pond for a run or walk if you can.
5 Stars - no less.

Lovely hotel, we stayed one night in a family room which was perfect for our requirements. One room with double bed and another with two single beds and a shared bathroom between the two. Staff were very friendly and helpful, the breakfast was delicious. Great easy walk around the lake from the hotel.

Ideal for a short stay. Peaceful haven to come back to after a day spent exploring the Coastline. Close to Relatives in Fraser burgh and St Combs Friendly and helpful staff. Great food and comfortable rooms.

My wife and I recently celebrated our anniversary at the Saplinebrae Hotel, and it was a wonderful experience! The food was absolutely delicious. I had the duck in a plum sauce, which was cooked to perfection, while my wife enjoyed the hake, which was equally outstanding. The atmosphere was perfect for a romantic evening. We highly recommend the Saplinebrae Hotel for anyone looking for a special dining experience.
