Ordered food on there online app never arrived after 2 hours phoned and was told 2 hours is a standard delivery time even though still ordered from a different takeaway further away arrived and was hot in less than a hour when asked to speak to a manager all I was told was she doesn't speak English not that I'm gonna be petty but 2 hours is ridiculous when I asked for a refund there driver was there and was up within 10 minutes 6miles may I add won't be going back after the service i have had tonight just shows always stick to what you know

Got honey chilli chicken. Wasn’t spicy at all because they decided to throw peppers and onions in it. Sauce not deep enough in colour. Fail. What’s so hard to understand HONEY and CHILLI. Doesn’t say anything about peppers and onions

We were touring the North Coast 500 and found this brilliant Chinese Restaurant that would deliver to our camp site. We were very impressed, the food tasted great and we were given very generous portions. I would definitely recommend this place. I'm liking it very much.

Great takeaway, packed with food with each order. The Singapore fried rice was 10/10. Prawns with satay sauce wasn’t quite satay sauce but tasty and packed with king prawns 8/10. Chow mein was average 6/10. Lacked veggie options but the food we had as delicious. Didn’t dine in as the vibes weren’t there. Maybe consider some background music for the dine in bit.

Got a takeaway from here today and everything tasted nice, the portions were big. However, I ordered chicken and got pork instead... It was nice, but I'd prefer getting what I order and not some surprise meat!!

WTH is going on here lol, ordered a chow mein, pretty standard dish, got a ramen noodle weird thing, doesn't even taste like a chow mein...
Had broccoli and corget in it, that's a first, the sauce was green 😭 😭...Expensive and disappointing.. the ribs were ok nothing special...
Think these guys could do with buying a Chinese cookbook. If I'm paying 20£ for takeaway I expect it to taste good and be what it says it is... is a joke for that money... It's going in the bin unfortunately...
The Scottish girls behind the till were very friendly though.
Feel like I've ripped off with overpriced, substandard muck in a tray. I can only assume they are still in business is because they have a captured audience in a small village.

The food isn’t the best could be much better. They put bamboo and carrots in everything ruins the meal. The egg fried rice has no flavour. Think they should go eat at cookie and copy their style of cooking lol

We stayed in the village for the night & decided to have dinner in this restaurant. That was a good decision! The staff were attentive, their menu choices were broad, food arrived fast & it was delicious. Would definitely recommend!! It's a popular takeaway but there is ample sitting space to eat in.

I had the misfortune of having a meal here a couple of weeks ago. (May 2024). Very very poor. The restaurant has little or no atmosphere…its like sitting in a canteen. I wouldn’t have minded so much but the food was possibly the worst Chinese meal that I have ever had. I am quite aware as I have many Chinese friends that UK Chinese restaurant food is generally not what they eat so didn’t have great expectations. I ordered some garlic and chilli chicken dish. It came with bought in chicken pieces in some form of coating, a horrible artificial bought in sauce (bit like that orange sweet and sour goo). This turned out to be a completely taste free option…rubbish. As for the service….two young girls who were pleasant enough….once you got them dragged from their phones. I had to approach the counter every time I wanted a drink. Therefore service = nil. The take out menu looked really impressive and at a decent price. However, the menu in the restaurant had hardly anything on it. The price in the restaurant however was £5.50 for a fried rice and about £12 for the chicken nuggets in orange goo. Way overpriced and extremely poor value.
On leaving the restaurant I did read their letter displayed in the window announcing their opening and about how it was an exquisite taste from the East. This was from someone called Sheng chen (the Chief Executive no less). I even took a picture of this letter as it was hilarious. Phrases such as ‘experience the vibrant flavors (sic) and cultural richness), ‘our team of skilled chefs’,’unforgettable culinary journey’ (certainly was unforgettable for the wrong reasons), ‘exceptional dining experience’, ‘flavors (spelt wrong again) that will transport you to the vibrant streets of China’ . I could go on ….but all I can say…this must be either for the opening of somewhere else, stolen from another restaurant or else making full use of ChatGPT (AI) to formulate an amazing opening letter.
So basically… don’t waste your money… extremely dismal place.

Have been here several times & found the food to be good but they've changed the recipe on the sweet & sour sauce & it has not been for the good. It looks like it's full of ketchup & does not taste nice.
It also cost more as they've stopped including the rice in the meal

Went here for the 1st time last night,
Ordered x2 chicken chow meins with no bean sprouts, drove home and we sat down to eat. Very thin noodles not like normal chow mein noodles they were also very very dry even though I asked for sauce. Sort of like they were microwaved dry. About 5 small strips of chicken each, a handful of onions and I counted 2 little slices of spring onions. Bit of a disappointing experience to be honest as I've never really struggled to swallow food because it was so dry. I would've brought the food back but it was a 10 mile round trip.

Ate from here a few times now best Chinese I have ever been too good portion sizes , food really nice and staff lovely , we had a slight mistake with our order (asked for no sauce on ribs came with sauce on , my 4 year old won't eat them with sauce) they were quick to fix it without any issues what so ever 🙂

After all the reviews i was scared to buy a food from this takeway but just because there is no another option and i was really starving I decided to risk and to buy Sweet and Savory Chicken and Fried Rice.. Owner was friendly and food was hot but really nice and delicious.. I am really impressed cause the points are low and reviews are bad but actually the food is really nice and I didn’t find any hair or something so feel safe to order and eat!! 😊😊
