We recently had the pleasure of visiting the Royal Mint for a VIP tour, and I must say, it was an unforgettable experience! From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was welcoming and exciting. The tour guides were absolutely fantastic—knowledgeable, engaging, and passionate about their work. They shared fascinating insights into the history of coin production and the intricate processes involved in minting money that really stood out was how they made the information accessible and interesting for everyone, their enthusiasm was contagious, and it truly enhanced the overall experience. We got to see the impressive machinery in action and even had the chance to hold some of the coins, which was a real treat! I highly recommend the VIP tour. It's a unique opportunity to learn about a vital part of our history, and the exceptional tour guides make it all the more special. I left feeling inspired and with a newfound appreciation for the art and science of coin making. Don’t miss out on this amazing experience!

This was a fantastic tour, thank you Peter, I now know a lot about coins. And making coins yourself is such a pleasure! I couldn't resist! Peter, you are a real professional and you are on point. I highly recommend this place to visit, especially if you have Peter as your guide.

Very knowledgeable man showed us around. 45 minutes but only 3 areas are seen. Expensive for what you get. Not in a hurry to go back to be honest.

Lots of very interesting information, good exhibition charting the history of the Mint from Alfred the Great to today. We visited in the final week before the tour closed for refurbishment, so no production was on show, but the guide was informative and the tour enjoyable nonetheless. Will be interesting to visit again once the new machine room part of the tour is opened in March.

Had an amazing time at the royal mint experience today. All the staff were very friendly and highly knowledgeable. I loved the fact that there was a huge amount of history connected to the mint and the displays reflected thus very well. The breadth of displays kept adults and children entertained and informed. Also a big plus was there was seating in every area. This was very considerate to us that can't stand for long periods (well done on this). Finally we ended the experience with an afternoon tea for two. Presentation and taste were superb! This was a Christmas present for my wife and she was blown away at how good the day was. I'd highly recommend the royal mint experience 👌 thank you!

I always pop into the royal mint to see the new coins and visit the cafe. It's nice to see the difference in the colour and plain coins before buying. The Cafe has a large selection of food to order and are reasonably priced. Always lots of parking and easy access from the M4. I've done the tour many times to strike my own coin.

We recently visited The Royal Mint, and it was an incredible experience! It was fascinating to explore the rich history of coin-making and learn about the Mint’s innovative approach to sustainability. Hearing about their initiatives to recycle electronic waste and recover precious metals was particularly inspiring. The fact that they are repurposing materials from old technology, such as mobile phones and laptops, and transforming them into products like fine jewellery is a fantastic example of modern innovation meeting heritage craftsmanship
Their efforts to support the circular economy and address environmental challenges are commendable. It would be great to see these initiatives expanded further in the future, perhaps by establishing partnerships with postal services to make it even easier for people across the UK to send in their old electronics for recycling.
Overall, it was a brilliant visit, and we’re excited to see how The Royal Mint continues to lead the way in both innovation and sustainability!

I transferred to this company more than £12k today before noon, then called them to ask why the money did not appear in Account Number: 35825828
It has been answered that it takes 3 days for them to check my payment!!! Their website has no indications, no warning that they would use my money for 3 days and will not pay any interest.
I want my money back and will not place an order with this company.
