The Museo Bodoniano in Parma is the oldest printing museum in Italy and was opened in 1963 on the occasion of the 150th anniversary of Giambattista Bodoni's death. The museum not only showcases works by Bodoni, but also the evolution of printing art from his time to the present. A focus is placed on the typefaces developed by Bodoni, which are still widely used and recognized worldwide. Various printing techniques and processes are presented, reflecting both tradition and innovation in typographic art. The museum offers visitors a comprehensive insight into the history of printing art and highlights Bodoni's influence on modern typography.
