A very special hotel in the heart of the upper city / Citta Alta in Bergamo. GombitHotel is centrally located, just steps from the restaurants, shops, and attractions — without being busy or noisy.
When we booked, I didn’t realize the hotel is part of the Design Hotel group, but that helps explain the beautiful modern rooms that honor the history of the building. Everything was comfortable, well thought through, and had a considered approach to sustainability.
For breakfast, we were given the complimentary option to have our selections (submitted the night before) delivered to our room. A lovely touch that we were grateful for.
Additionally, everyone on staff that we interacted with was friendly, kind, accommodating, and had excellent English language skills. They went above and beyond, including helping with language barriers at our next hotel by calling to work out some details.
For the tech inclined: excellent wi-fi in our room for streaming video calls.
Wish our stay were longer! Can’t wait to go back!

Gombit Hotel is an excellent to experience Bergamo - located in the center of the city, walking distance to all attractions and local shops. The hotel staff was very kind, rooms were spacious, clean and very refined and updated. We had breakfast served in our room both night of our stay which was amazing. Breakfast was excellent, we would highly recommend staying at this hotel!

If you visit Bergamo old town this is the place to stay. No contest. Breakfast in your room. Huge rooms with comfortable couches and dining table. Close to everything.
The staff was kind helpful and super conscious of being environmentally sound.

All'arrivo vieni accolto in maniera molto cordiale da uno staff giovane, e rimani sorpreso dall'arredamento dell'holl, molto particolare. Una comodità dell'hotel è la vicinanza alla piazza, a un comodo parcheggio e alla funivia, se si vuole stare a contatto con quello che ti circonda.

Uniquely styled and fun hotel in the heart of Citta Alta. The room was comfortable and clean and the staff were friendly and welcoming. Having available garage parking was also an exceptional bonus considering the limited parking available for the area.

Ужасно, място .
Обслужването беше по-зле и от Българското море. Персонала не беше на нивото, не отзивчиви,не отговаряше на цената която платих ме. Мрачно, тъмно не знаеш дали е нощ или ден. Храната беше под всякаква критика, шумно, трудно достъпно, далеч от гара летище, никакъв транспорт. Всичко беше на километри разстояние. Не препоръчвам на никой, дори и на враговете си.

The Gombit Hotel, 100 yards from Piazza Vecchia in Citta Alta, was fantastic! The location, service, comfort, and value were all outstanding. We would definitely stay there again!

Un hotel encantador en todos los sentidos. Está ubicado en plane ciudad alta, en unos callejones preciosos. La decoración del hotel es preciosa, y la habitación en la torre de otro mundo, al igual que el baño. Sin duda la mejor opción si quieres alojarte en esta parte de la ciudad. Los únicos peros: el desayuno es mejorable aunque correcto y la insonorizacion de las habitaciones. En cualquier caso más que recomendable.
