Cathedral of Tortona

The cathedral, dedicated to the Assumption of the Virgin Mary and Saint Lawrence, was built in the 16th century and redesigned in the neoclassical style in the 19th century. Palazzo Guidobono

This palace, built in the 15th century, was given a new Gothic-style facade in 1939. Today it houses the archaeological museum of Tortona, providing insight into the region's history.

Church of Santa Maria Canale

Mausoleum Maiorano

In the rectory of the Church of San Matteo lies the tomb of Emperor Maiorano, who was murdered by Ricimero in 461. The mausoleum measures nearly 9x9 meters and is an impressive testament to Roman burial culture.
