Bruschetta is just dry, really dry bread. The service is ok but it's all in all super expensive

Giornata piovosa, la location è super-turistica quindi non avevamo alte aspettative, il personale molto gentile ... il cibo era un po' di cucina industriale: tordelli non proprio tali ma con un ottimo ragù, stico molto tenero, patate tolte dal forno qualche ora prima e riscaldate. presso non proprio economico ma giustificato dallo splendore della piazza.

We wanted to have lunch in the main piazza and this restaurant was the one we happened to randomly pick. It sits right in the piazza. The service was good and so was the food. Pizzas were ok but we like the pasta dishes. Portions were big.

De pizza’s waren klein en niet echt smakelijk. De pizza vegatariano had nauwelijks groente erop.
Op de rekening stond een bedrag van 4,- voor Coperto. Soms gebruikelijk in Italië. Maar in dit geval hadden we papier placemats en geen tafellinnen. Ook hebben we geen brood of olijven of iets dergelijks gehad. Afzetterij wat mij betreft. Ik heb aangegeven dat ik dit niet ging betalen. Uiteindelijk een aangepaste rekening gekregen.
Bediening (dame) was vriendelijk.
Ik zou dit restaurant niet aanraden.

Good service with wonderful food. We enjoyed a pizza and carpaccio and the flavors were delicious. So nice to sit and enjoy the plaza here in the afternoon

The Napoli pizza was so salty we could hardly eat it! And the crust was extremely hard - perhaps frozen dough? Prices are low, the view is nice, and the drinks were okay, but the food could definitely use some improvement.

These idiots that review based on ordering burgers are Stupido. It’s an Italian restaurant! If you want Italian food this is as good as any in the piazza. Great service great food and great value.

Ristorante di mediocre qualità , popolato da turisti stranieri. La posizione è strategica, a lato della piazza ovale tra vari locali suggestivi. In generale le portate sono buone, però alcuni piatti mancano di cura e qualità. Rapporto qualità prezzo adatta.

Perfect restaurant on one of the most beautiful places of Italy, Piazza dell’Anfiteatro in Lucca. It is a beautiful place, with some live music, the perfect atmosphere for a lovely Italian lunch. We were served by the lovely Martina. She was a lovely waitress, she loved our dog and our dog loved her. We had the best time having lunch here. Service and specially Martina should deserve 10 stars.
We both had a big lovely pizza which were delicious!
And than you think, 2 people having pizza on a very touristic piazza with good service, must be expensive? Well, it was all for only €30, which is very cheap!
100% would recommend you eat here!! I had a wonderful holiday experience!

A wonderful evening with excellent customer service. It is my first time visiting Lucca and my cousin and I felt instantly welcomed. As a vegan, I was a little unsure of what I would be able to eat in Italy and our waiter, Harry, was absolutely incredible! He recommended some amazing dishes and went above and beyond to make sure we were happy. Absolutely lovely food and scenery! Would definitely recommend for anyone visiting the area!

Our server, Harry, was absolutely amazing. My cousin and I went here for dinner (she is vegan) and he did an amazing job recommending food and making her feel included in the experience of Italian food! Would 1000% recommend to any visitors.

Locale e posto fantastici. Il personale è simpatico e disponibile. Il servizio è veloce. Ho mangiato il loro Pulled Pork con patate arrosto e il loro tiramisù. È facile percepire il loro impegno nell'offrire un servizio e un menù di qualità. Consigliatissimo!

we ordered aperitifs, quite mediocre... served without a minimum of snacks, haughty staff. Only the location is worth it, AVOID THERE IS BETTER!
