Came here the other day with a couple of friends and I’m absolutely raving about it here! Harry was just amazing - absolutely impeccable service. I had a gluten allergy I needed to make him aware of and he took it very seriously and guided me to options on the menu which would be best value for my money given my allergy. The food and drinks were equally as tasty and the atmosphere was so lovely!

Ambiente carino dal caratteristico stile tirolese. Personale gentile e accogliente. Qualche tavolata leggermente trasgressiva ma gradevole. Cibo e birra eccellente.

Great place for a drink. Great food. Service was very slow for our experience. I might sound old, but it was too loud to enjoy a meal. We were shouting at each other all evening. Would I go back? Definitely for a drink, not so much for a meal.

food and atmosphere were great but the best thing about this place is Jakub, never in my life have I experienced such good service. I would definitely come back again just for the hope of being served by Jakub.

Visited Birmingham from overseas and a friend took me out here. The place seemed really nice and really packed on a Sunday but I just couldn’t stop noticing the cross as a display. I found it very disrespectful and mockery of the Christian faith. We will never be returning till they take it down. Left as soon I noticed it. Again so disappointing and disrespectful to just have a cross as decoration in a night bar/club.

Good place to hangout with friends. This place gets full on weekends. They have good choices of Beers. Food was good and service too. I love the garlic cheese bread.

On our trip to the Schloss we met a tender called Zacc. We had been charged extra on our drink and we couldn’t get it back. I cried and I cried and Zack exclaimed; “There’s a showtime surcharge, best customer. it can’t be regained” I wiped my tear, gave a nod and accepted my £1 fate. Zacc looked at me and smiled and said “you know what, you can wait”. He went to the back and returned with a shot, with a wink and a smile, it had all been forgot(ten) A laugh was exchanged and so was a smile. this poem has now run out of words. thanks Zacc with two ‘C’s!

We had a night out in Birmingham recently and ended up here. What an absolute gem of a venue. Not being young anymore, we never felt out of place and everyone in there were so friendly. We will be back again in April :)

This is a very nice bar/restaurant. The atmosphere and theming is very consistent and vibrant, it looks exactly how a German establishment would look, the beer is high quality, tasty with good head at a reasonable price. The pretzel is warm and tastes very fresh and flavoursome. The fries taste nice and complement the drinks and food very nicely. The tables were clean although leftover drinks can be on tables. However it is quite difficult to find a seat so I recommend arriving reasonably early to avoid standing or uncomfortable tables. Overall I would totally recommend this place and I see myself coming here quite a lot

Brilliant bar, friendly team and door staff. Only downside is the queue can be around 40 minutes to get in.

The most gigantic joint of roast pork I’ve ever been served. Actually verging on ridiculous. Proportions were all wrong - came with only 3 small roast potatoes, a meagre amount of red cabbage and some very soggy overcooked green veg literally crushed under the weight of the pork. There was also a Yorkshire pudding, thankfully served on a side plate (of course totally dwarfed by the size of the meat) and a little jug of gravy. I would have preferred a much smaller portion of meat, and much more of everything else. I’m sure this would be cheaper for the restaurant to provide too. The crackling was excellent but it became tiresome chewing through all of it. Towards the end of the meal you’re just eating pork on its own like some sort of caveman 🍖 Not really enjoyable and it began to make me feel nauseous 🥴 Admitted defeat at this point. The waitress said she’d worked there a few years and had never known anyone finish it but remarked I’d done pretty well. The food waste must be through the roof! The service and atmosphere was very good, and it’s decent value for money so I’ve rated it fairly but they do need to calm down on the size of the meat portions.

Me and the fam went on Sunday afternoon for Sunday roast. Now Albert Schloss is known for its party and mayhem, but on a Sunday it was chill and relaxing and family vibes were there. Definitely recommend for a meal with your mates, family, date night. Service was a 10/10, the guy (I cannot remember his name) was so lovely, he was funny which was good too. Good vibes from him. Made the experience even better. Atmosphere was loud, pretty much every table was full. There was a live performance on the stage which was a nice touch. Food we had three courses, so I had alpine croquettes, roast beef dinner and pretzel doughnuts with choc sauce. The starter and dessert were the best!! 10/10 would definitely recommended. Sunday roast was a bit mid, I find restaurant Sunday roast mid because it’s always cold. But that’s just my opinion. The taste of the food was good, the gravy and Yorkshire pudding was great. I would recommended coming here on a Sunday. There was shuttle board, which you could just go and play. There was a Photo Booth which was £1 a go, normally it’s like £5 in the evenings. The toilets were clean. And loved the disco toilet in the women’s bathroom, doubt the men have this :) this was a brill idea. Nights out there look fun!! Will defo need to come back for a night out. Anyway 10/10 lovely experience, lovely Sunday afternoon :)) will be going back for food and trying just the normal mains.

The most racist pub in whole Birmingham. I was visiting Alberts almost every Friday but one day a new lady on gate suddenly asked us to show ID because we were looking different. Why i am sure about the reason is, because other people who supposedly look alike to her were not asked for any IDs. In fact, we “brown” were asked to step aside to clear entry for their own people. Looks like Alberts now employs people who intentionally does racism profiling.
