Flamborough Cliffs are a spectacular part of the yorkshire Coastline. There are lots of caves and rock pools to explore. It's worth going to the bay next to the lighthouse to see the Seals with their pups and the drinking dinosaur rock formation dating back 130 million years to the cretaceous period. There is food and drink available at the old lifeboat shed and the cafe at the top of the cliffs. There's a large car park at North Landing and next to the Lighthouse.

Just three words ...am azi ng!! :P But seriously, it's a lovely plase, or rather large patch of land, rocks and water where you can forget about life's issues and a rat race for a while. Bring some water, your dogs, kids even cats if they like to walk on a lead and go, get lost in such lovely scenery.
Flamborough Head has one of the most important seabird colonies in Europe. In summer the cliffs are packed with tens of thousands of breeding auks, gannets, gulls and puffins, creating a memorable experience. The chalk grassland, especially in Holmes Gut, is rich in flowers attracting butterflies and a number of uncommon moths.

Love Flamborough. North landing is perfect. Turquoise water when it's calm and sunny, sand, coves and boat trips. Beautiful and unspoilt.

Really beautiful place to visit, lovely walks, and reasonably priced food too!
Parking is cheap, and plentiful.
