Carpark next to the beach. The sand spreads out to the horizon and more. Lots of room. We visited on a cold February day with icy winds. It's beautiful.

There are so many stunning beaches to choose from in Northumberland and Beadnell is no exception. There are old lime kilns at one end of the beach and in the distance are the ruins of Dunstanburgh castle. The beach itself was very clean, very close to the car park so it's ideal if you don't like trekking over sand dunes to get to the sand. Toilets and takeaway food and drinks are available in the car park.

Lovely, clean wide beach with good views. Large car park, free for1st hour - you need to get a ticket for this. Toilets on site.

Toilets were a bit grim and there was a terrible smell of rotten eggs at the benthall and of the beach. Some research suggests it was from rotting seaweed, surely this would be washed away with every tide? Seemed to us a bit more like a sewage issue.
The bay itself was beautiful and we were able to walk all the way to the other end and back without falling over lots of people.
We did say that some signage to alert people to the cows roaming around the stream area would be a good idea. Not everyone can control their dogs and we could imagine there were times when the cows would become distressed.

Ridiculous new system that has you having to book a campervan bay but can't do it on the same day as you want it for. Only one bay being used and the rest sitting empty on a lovely Saturday evening. What a waste. Used to be one of my favourite overnight stops until they started this mad system

Lovely beach and good car park with toilets. The landing was good for a hot chocolate and cake after an afternoon at the beach.
