Superb service throughout the hotel, dining and bar areas. The owner is friendly and helpful, as are all his staff. We visit regularly for their events and always have a fantastic time. Keep up the great work Bramley team.

What a beautiful find! We were welcomed with lovely smiles, kindness and a room upgrade. Such a lovely quirky place, lovely decor, friendly staff and delicious food and wine! Such a good idea for the restaurant and little bar! Perfect! Thank you Tom and all of the Bramley House Team!

I was politely greeted and was offered a upgrade with breakfast included, the room was nice and spacious, a very comfortable king size bed, the room was fully equipped with everything I needed and a nice bathroom with shower The staff were very friendly and easy to talk to. I realy enjoyed a big hearty piping hot full English with a large pot of coffee. I recommend here to anyone who wishes to stay

We booked a double room for 2 nights directly with the hotel and subsequently received complimentary breakfast. The room was at the top of the hotel so was very quiet. Room was clean and bed was comfortable. Shower was ok once you'd mastered hot and cold. Breakfast was good, chef was very pleasant. (We were the only ones in dining room) My only bugbear is that after booking, the rooms were reduced in price

Second time I've stayed here. Without doubt a gem of a place. Rooms comfortable and well furnished, the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast choices great. The bar I the evening was an added bonus for a small hotel. The staff very attentive and helpful. Tom and Pete, the owners have made a hotel feel like a home. Very friendly couple who can often be found sitting in the bar chatting to the clients. Thank you both, we will definitely use again when down visiting family.

Fantastic hotel, in a great location. The quirky old house converted into a hotel means there are low ceilings, odd corridors with twists and turns but it gives it great character. Deffo staying again. The only downside was that the shower was a bit naff, and there wasn't anyone around in the morning to let me pay for breakfast as I'd have expected. That was only that I hadn't pre-booked and fancied it that morning. But other than that it's great place!

The Bramley is my home away from home. I’ve stopped in quite a few hotels and the Bramley is up there with the best of them. Super friendly team, always eager to help. The food by the new chef is superb, the rooms always clean and tidy and excellent wifi. Tom, Pete, Carly, Jerry, Poppy and Ruby always make my stay feel like I’m amongst friends. Quite possibly The worst service I’ve ever had. Booked a table for 3 for a 30th birthday celebration tonight after reading such good reviews online. Sad to say we did not have the same experience. Upon arrival we had a friendly welcome from several smiley people and were quickly shown through to the seating area. Our orders were taken quickly, however despite being the only customers in at the time of ordering we still had to wait 45 minutes for 2 pizzas and a burger. The pizzas were both terrible and I couldn’t finish mine. The dough wasn’t cooked in the middle making it difficult to cut and was missing that thin crispy texture of a pizza. The amount of pepper on the pizza made it very unpalatable and ruined the only good bit of the pizza which was the topping. Service was very slow to clear plates, despite asking for desert menus when our plates were taken we waited another 30 or so minutes for our order to be taken, and then another 30 minutes or so for our dessert (at this point one other couple had joined in the restaurant so still not busy enough to justify this slow service). My ice cream arrived melted and the tiny portions of brownie my friends had were disappointing. Customer service hugely lacking, we had to go and ask the only lady serving that evening for the bill as she was sat in the other room (likely the cause of the awful service it seems out of sight out of mind). Won’t be returning and will not be recommending.

We had a baby shower at Bramley House with afternoon tea and it was an amazing experience. From booking online to the meal, it was incredible service. We have many intolerances and they ensured that they felt taken care off. It was also very good value for money.

Enjoyable evening with friends. Fiona had a surprise birthday cake ahead of her birthday the following week. Starters we fine but a little disappointed with the mains. Fiona's fish was fine but my bbq chicken lacked bbq sauce!! Will probably return for another try. It was busy.

Went here for some lunch and was really happy with both the food and service. Just had a sandwich but it was top quality food and tasted amazing. There was only one memeber of staff out front, but it was very quiet and once seated we didn’t have to wait long for anything. The whole place looked nice and had a quiet bur friendly atmosphere. Will be visiting again.

This is a little gem in Chatteris. The fantastic owners have responded to positive feedback and increased their opening hours and facilities. I went for lunch (again) with my sister and the service was so personal and engaging. The chef makes homemade soup daily and we had pumpkin today. Absolutely delicious, great price and we even sat outside today because the weather was crazy nice for November. You don't get such a friendly, personal service anywhere else. Thankyou so much for doing what you do xx

Positioned in the centre of town with a car park it is very handy to visit. Food we had for lunch was very good. Service was good and provided by pleasant friendly staff. To quote some big guy:- We will be back.
