Our family stayed here in one of the holiday let's. Omg it was incredible stayed in a building that was a brewery to the estate. So beautiful I just love history and our heritage the hall is amazing. I loved the portrait of Bess she looks a formidable lady wearing her beautiful strings of pearls. A must go and visit..........

Just WONDERFUL. A Tudor mansion largely unspoilt. Amazing tapestries and plasterwork. enormous grounds. Last entrance to the house was st 2.15 so don't get caught out.

It is an amazing building with so much history . It still looks so authentic and the staff there are so informed, it really is an incredible experience.

House was very interesting. Guides were very knowledgeable. Grounds were too muddy for a walk.

A fabulous historic house which you meander through the building. There are guides dotted about the building for help and advice. Anything we were interested in we asked about it. The guides were very knowledgeable.

I was filming for an accessibility video I'm creating and as a chair user found it to be fairly accessible, though there are several areas which require addressing, but I know the team are working hard to address these and it has a changing places, which is great to see. The ground floor of the house itself is accessible, but a couple of the interior ramps are somewhat steep, so please bare this in mind and I'll be sharing footage ASAP.

It’s always beautiful walking around the grounds. Great cafe with delicious vegan cakes and meal options. Lovely to look around the hall itself.

Breathtaking estate. The house is well worth a visit on it's own to tour around. We spent quite a while there. Would love to come back when the gardens are in full bloom.

Excellent manor with a very rich history. Took roughly 2 hours to properly go through the manor leaving little time to explore the grounds. Very easy to make a day of Hardwick Hall (weather dependent). Tickets bought on-site
