Lack of staff as we kept being told. Asked for room clean on two occasions and got missed. Had to ask for clean towels and clean pillow cases as was dirty on arrival. The whole place looked liked it needed a hoover. The worst premier inn we have ever stayed in. Would not stay there again.

Good hotel You always know what you get with a Premium Inn. Good parking, good room, good shower, good breakfast

The hotel was great, very clean spacious and everything you need. What really lets the hotel down is the food in the restaurant next to the hotel. The breakfast was the worst breakfast I have ever had with a Premier Inn, I order bacon, eggs and mushrooms with baked beans the one slice of bacon I was given was inedible, it was very hard and covered in grease. My two fried eggs were swimming in grease and I was only able to eat the yolks. The mushrooms just tasted of water despite my request that the chef cook them in butter - I never got the beans. The only thing I could eat were the egg yolks. Dinner fared a little better, my soup was okay. The steak which I requested to be cooked at medium rare was well done and very dry, the salad was not inviting at all - the only decent thing were the chips because mine had to be fried separately as I am gluten free. The staff were lovely but the chef could not cook - extremely disappointing.

Pay for a PLUS room and in this Premier Inn you don't get the plus room that is advertised, or shown on the website, but one with a bath/step over shower. Polite staff but misleading online sales.

Clean and quiet, great location. Breakfast had a great choice and staff were friendly.

All OK. Needs a bar though, and the restaurant was fully booked.

The worst premier inn ever. Dirty throughout. Desperately needs a huge refurbishment. Breakfast a joke. Really has put me off from staying with premier inns again.

The rooms are absolutely what you would expect from a Premier Inn. They are clean, spacious and well equipped. The issue with my stay was the restaurant. I took my very elderly Mother in Law to dinner in the restaurant, the menu is a typical British pub menu with the usual fare. On the occasion I visited we were informed that they didn't have any rice, mushy peas and something else that I forgot. Anyway we ordered a sharing platter, some soup and three main courses. The sharing platter was poor at best, with the potato wedges being chips. Our platter was cleared before my mother in law had finished her starter, despite me telling them not to. Main courses, we asked for Tartare Sauce for the scampi, guess what they didn't have any but offered us horseradish as an alternative. Really! Breakfast was the continental option, which lacked selection and was not replenished. Overall the accommodation is good, but the team simply did not want to serve people in the restaurant or at breakfast.

No complaints about size of rooms and comfortable beds though starting to look in need of a refresh in decor however booked breakfast and ate in restaurant on nighttime both occasions very disappointing and not worth the money

The hotel was fully booked on our visit, so it was busy, but it's not too bad a place. Room smelt stale and used with hair on the bath, but with no natural ventilation, there's no fresh air circulation (rooms have air con). My biggest gripe is on some websites this hotel is listed with a Beefeater on site ( which it did have at some point) but has been subject to the Whitbread cull of closing the Beefeaters so it's just a basic menu for evening meals and breakfast. I'd recommend looking elsewhere for your evening grub. There was a distinct lack of staff also with one person tackling the bar, taking orders, delivering food to customers and dealing with anything else that came up, not great with a full hotel of people.

Why can't we open the windows anymore. No wonder the room smelt damp, nowhere for the steam to escape.

Good stay but they have to improve how the breakfast is being prepared. The breakfast was terrible

All good but let down by the breakfast unfortunately much of the menu was missing and what there was was overcooked and dried up, I wouldn't mind but we weren't late down we got to breakfast for 8am so it was hardly the last dregs before closing up. For more than £10 each you expect fresh food. Room, Hotel and staff however were great and deserve 5 stars Thankyou

We had to wait 50 minutes for our room. The lady at reception did apologise when it was finally ready and we were given a free breakfast for the waitIt was a premier plus room, so it was spacious. The room was tired looking, but it was clean. Breakfast was OK. The sausages were gritty, and the fried eggs were just on the side, drying out. I must say this isn't the best Premier Inn I've stayed in. They have gone hill. What I will say on a positive note is that the bed was super comfortable.

Rooms as you would expect of a premier inn. Friendly staff although restaurant currently going through change from beef eater to generic hotel restaurant with no name. Average food and with so many good restaurants in Cirencester I would give it a miss.

Had one or two issues with housekeeping but otherwise two comfortable nights ‘accessible’sleep. We didn’t eat at the hotel so unable to comment on that. I have been a fan of Premier inns for years

As a discerning patron of hospitality services, I feel compelled to share my recent experience at a Premier Inn establishment, marked by a discord between the enticing promises proffered on their website and the stark realities encountered during my stay. My dissatisfaction emanates from the grievous misrepresentation of Premier Plus rooms, the non-fulfilment of a paid upgrade, the dearth of breakfast options, and the operational mismanagement culminating in the premature cessation of breakfast service. Misleading Representation of Premier Plus Rooms: The disparity between the lavish portrayal of Premier Plus rooms on Premier Inn's website and the underwhelming accommodations allocated to me upon arrival reveals a disconcerting lack of transparency and candour in their marketing practices. The embellished descriptions failed to align with the austere actuality, leaving a palpable sense of disillusionment and disenchantment. Including this, the windows in the room did not seem to open because there was AC included in the room, however the AC unit took around half an hour to start working, leading to the room becoming unbearably hot in the middle of summer. Failure to Deliver Promised Premier Plus Room: Having paid a premium for an upgraded Premier Plus room, the failure to honour this reservation and provide the expected enhancements represents a breach of trust and a disregard for the customer's explicit preferences. The absence of the bespoke amenities promised underscores a deficiency in service delivery and a disregard for the fundamental tenets of customer satisfaction. Inadequate Breakfast Provisions and Service Disruptions: The absence of breakfast options during my stay, compounded by the depletion of food supplies and the premature closure of breakfast facilities due to operational lapses, reflects a lack of foresight, preparation, and customer-centricity. Such deficiencies in provisioning and service management detract from the holistic guest experience and besmirch the reputation of the esteemed Premier Inn brand. In conclusion, the dissonance between the advertised allure and the tangible offerings experienced underscores a systemic issue that warrants immediate attention and rectification. I implore Premier Inn to introspect on their marketing veracity, operational efficacy, and commitment to customer satisfaction to avert the recurrence of such lapses and uphold the standards of excellence expected from a reputed hospitality entity. Overall I would recommend other Premier Inn hotels, such as the Premier Inn hotel in Poole, but this location is one of the lacking parts of this franchise. My hope is that this feedback serves as a catalyst for introspection and improvement, fostering a culture of accountability, transparency, and customer-centricity within the esteemed Premier Inn organisation.

Not the cleanest Premier Inn we've stayed in. Carpet had big brown stains on it, purple stains on the bathroom wall, shower head leaking, thick dust on the wall above the bed, breakfast menu left in the room covered in dirty brown marks. Asked for the room to be serviced at 07.00, (no little hanger to put on the door handle for room to be serviced) got back at 18.00 and it had not been done. Ended up getting clean bed linen and doing it myself. For £320 for two nights for 2 people not exactly cheap.

Upsides: The room was nice and clean. The staff I interacted with were very helpful and pleasant. The continental breakfast was lovely. Aldi, tesco and McDonald's across the road. 1 mile walk to the town centre. Downsides: the tea and coffee hadn't been restocked however there was a supply in reception so not too bad. The kettle must have needed descaling because the cuppas tasted horrible. The cooked breakfast was sub par with rubbery food.

It's a typical Premier Inn - clean, comfortable, quiet. Note at the moment Jul 24 they aren't doing evening meals or lunch in the adjacent Beefeater, but they are doing breakfast. I didn't enjoy their recommended alternative, the Bees Knees pub - it's not the haven of peace and tranquility I was looking for, at least on the Saturday night I was there.
