It was good, clean and comfy enough despite the lack of free WiFi connection and a refrigerator in the room. The staff was polite and helpful. It would be a good choice if you prefer visiting this part of the region.

So basic, breakfast is a box, WiFi is free for 30 mins only. No restaurant, no laundry..... Nice polite, helpful receptionist though.

Unfortunately the stay at Travelodge was not great or up to the expected standard. If you're booking less than a 7-night stay, don't expect them to clean your room or change your bed instead of topping up tea bags and towels. This is what I experienced from my recent stay at Travelodge in Cirencester. No mopping or bedding was done during my 6 nights stay. When I requested reception, they only did top up (tea bags and towels). Also, I raised my concerns with the cleaning staff ,a lady from the reception came to the room and rudely told me that Travelodge has a policy that they are not supposed to be cleaned the room for stays of less than 7 days.. i.e they will clean the room after 7 days stay or departure. This seems quite strange to me?

generally quite a dingy hotel, we stayed through a company but defiantly would not stay again. One of the windows would not lock (ground floor room) we couldn’t be sure if the room door actually locked, the rooms had a weird smell, not a clean or like febreeze smell more like stagnant water. there was black mold in the bathroom and stains on the floor of what we are hoping was more mold. the rooms were not soundproofed at all and we could hear absoluetly everything from the room above, including them checking in at midnight and thumping around until 2am then getting it on until 5am. not quite what you want after half a day driving. we met two women working and the first lady looked incredibly miserable, gave us a list of resturant recommendations and a fair few were permentaly closed places, the lady this morning was absolutely lovely so i do feel bad leaving a poor review but it was an awful hotel and did feel like something out of a horror movie. for £103 for one person for a single night we would’ve expected more, especially things like free wifi (you got 30 mins free before having to pay) and a breakfast that was a bit nicer. the breakfast was in a box with a pastry and some cartooned milk/apple juice which was pretty poor. there was no sort of basics in the rooms like you’d get at a holiday inn (hairdryers, ironing board, fridge, shampoo/conditioner/body wash, spare toilet paper ect).
personally woke up at midnight due to the couple above us and cars pulling up outside kept me awake, did not feel safe in the room and was constantly anxious of someone coming in.

The smallest child sized twin beds (2 singles)
No power points by the bed for cpap
WiFi is charged (2024!!!)
It is fine if you NEED to stay but it was neither comfortable nor cheap enough to justify
Wouldn't stay unless no other options

Clean, comfortable room, very functional. Warm, friendly staff, even though we arrived really late.
