My husbands 60th Birthday and we stayed in the amazing accommodation next door including breakfast. Had an excellent time, food amazing as usual, a brilliant deal when you book accommodation ( the rooms are sooo lovely). The staff sang happy birthday to him when they brought his pudding out to him. Love this place .

Very lovely inn, with lovely staff and great food. We booked in advance, and was greeted by a welcoming waitress who took us to our specially allocated table with easy access; as we had a pram.
Food was fantastic, very up to high standard. You could everything was homemade and made fresh.
Highly recommend a visit. We had a lovely time.
Room was nice and cosy too with the fire burning.

Really good food very well presented with polite and attentive staff. A very good time was had by all. I would highly recommend this place to anyone. PS the wines are not to shabby either especially the South African !

We have just enjoyed a lovely evening at The Brownlow, the food was really nice and the service was excellent but hats off to the waitress Summer who really just went out of her way and was very genuine but extremely good at her job😉 The whole experience was very professional wish more places were like this xxxx Thanks for giving us a nice evening xxx

The bloke with the voice that’s 100 decibels louder than the average human needs to sort his attitude, an apology would of been nice rather than the passive aggressive nature used, especially when you have bare minimum knowledge of the situation. I will be sticking to the Fitzherbert Arms in future, never any issues there and you get spoken to like an actual human. P.s clean your windowsills and radiators to prevent this situation arising again (and no I won’t be leaving an expensive coat on a coat peg, we aren’t in pre school PE class)

We booked a room for the night that included dinner and breakfast. The room was gorgeous and very spacious with a mini bar! We had a three course meal which was delicious. Plus the breakfast was huge! Excellent service too.

A very special 30th birthday meal for my partner. I haven't been to the Brownlow since I was little but I brought my partner today for his birthday. What an incredible and perfect experience. The decor and atmosphere was so warm and modern and cozy. The service from Kayleigh and Ethan was absolutely top notch. We had a tanohawk steak and sides. Wow. In ten years of eating out together, we both agreed this was by far the best meal we've ever had out. There was no comparison. We felt so special and welcome and everyone singing happy birthday was so heart warming. We will absolutely be back and definitely recommend. Thank you for an amazing unforgettable evening.

The restaurant is very nice with great decor. The staff were really friendly and welcoming. Five of us met up for lunch and three of the meals were perfect. One was presented with mash instead of chips but this was immediately rectified with a side of chips. I had the liver and bacon which was delicious but the liver was overcooked and rather tough. I would definitely go again but I don't think I would choose the same meal.

Stylish venue, beautiful decor, delicious food of sizeable proportions. Friendly, professional staff, most accommodating when one member of our party was delayed by a fallen tree!
Excellent service, lovely food and drink well worth a visit.

The refurbishment here is very nice and is a good improvement. We were a little disappointed in the food as even though our meals tasted nice I felt it had been standing for a while under a heater, it looked a little dry.

My 4th visit the 1st 3 were incredible food and service, today It was not so good it was like the chef has changed, and we had a table of 6. Every main corse plate was bad. Starters were good, but the mains were slow. Not worth the £250 bill.

Had a lovely meal for my birthday with my best friend, i’ve been several times before but it’s even nicer with the new conservatory and fire! The staff as always were so friendly and attentive, the food was delicious and i was delighted to have had a special birthday treat given too! 🥰Thank you for helping me celebrate and in particular to the waitress who had long brown hair in a pony she was so lovely ❣️

If you are vegan I wouldn't bother. The menu claimed to have a vegan burger but it was disappointing at best. It advertised it with chips and onion rings but I had to ask only to find out the onion rings weren't vegan so not provided. The burger lacked imagination, it had no sauce or uplifting trimmings, just a tired looking piece of lettuce and a slab of tomato. And no accompanying salad or vegan coleslaw etc. A bland and sparse plate of food for how much it cost.
At least the service was top notch 👍
