A fab hotel with great staff, lovely big room and huge shower. All you need in the room for a very comfortable stay and dog friendly too. Bar/restaurant very cosy and food superb dinner and breakfast. If staying in this next of the woods consider this place. If you have a dog it’s ideal with a one acre garden.

We booked Sunday lunch to celebrate my fiancé's birthday and couldn't have been more pleased. From the moment we walked in we were really impressed by the staff, everyone we spoke to was friendly and professional. The atmosphere was lovely but most importantly of all the food was first class. Overall, can't recommend enough, top marks to everyone involved you are a real credit to your business. Great food at very reasonable prices.

Wow,Wow,Wow. Please do not overlook this venue it is absolutely a superior place to stay and eat. We went there for a very sentimental celebration and the host blow us away with there kindness, understanding and we could not fault anything. If you like fine dining with food that blows your mind this is the place. The host knowledge of wines, foods and also of the area is above and beyond. The accommodation was immaculate very clean and comfortable, quite and has everything you need. Lovely having the bar open all day to grab a drink of hot coffee liquor after a walk with the dogs. Treat yourself small venue that packs a big punch. Well done to all the staff you have it nailed.

Fantastic meal, service that went above and beyond and food with some real memorable moments. Such a special evening spent dining here, we felt so well looked after - especially me being pregnant and my many dietary requirements - they knew exactly what would work and what wouldn’t and no question or ask was too much. There was a perfect amount of food theatre that not only made for some special moments that we’ll remember for a really long time but also weren’t just there for the look - they really added something special to the dish. Clearly the menu has been incredibly well thought through. Fantastic meal, wonderful wine flight (for the husband!) with some excellent wine stories. Would definitely recommend for a special evening

An overnight stay perfect in every way. Beautiful food - in house dry aged beef and veg picked from their lovely garden. Having been to the local "competition" in the region, there is simply no competition. Cozy rooms and top tier service all round. Can't wait to come back in the new year. Thanks Jake, Katy and staff!

Great stay, would highly recommend it. The service was extremely good. Our dog even got spoilt with his own venison sausage. The food was not only divine, but also well presented.

Wonderful family run hotel with lovely comfortable four poster bed bedrooms. Excellent full English breakfast included and the wonderfully stocked bar ideal for a nightcap. The most fantastic stay… A large group of us came and stayed before a day out in the field the next day. The Staff and owners were all fantastic. First class service, really friendly and helpful. Lovely food locally sourced. And beautiful, clean comfortable rooms. What a gem!

Wow what a find!. The best meal that we have had, for many years. Every mouthful was perfection. The portion sizes were spot on, the food was delicious and the presentation was excellent. This was all topped off with the best waiter we have ever had serve us. He was professional charming, respectful, polite, humourous and knowledgeable. His delivery was honest, genuine and sincere. Thank you for making my birthday meal such a memorable occasion.

omg this place was amazing. Very reasonably priced. the food and service throughout our stay was incredible,... my only complaint was I like a mug of coffee in the morning but they only provide cups and saucers in the room. guess I can live with this insignificant issue. thank you very much to the staff and keep up the amazing work. your passion for hospitality is amazing and shows throughout....

A family run business that the owner's take exceptional pride in running. Attention to detail is 1st class. From the welcome to showing you to your room and giving a thorough explanation of the facilities to a great meal. Not many chefs get a blue steak right but they certainly managed to nail this one. Would certainly recommend trying this hotel. The rooms are spacious.

My review is for the restaurant at The Bull. We wanted to choose somewhere special for a lunch after our wedding. The Bull was the ideal place. With spectacular food made from the best local ingredients, and outstanding service, we had a truly memorable day. The team at The Bull went above and beyond to make our wedding lunch special.

Stayed here while working locally (Diss) on 17th July 24. Actually wish I was working longer so I could have stayed longer! Great welcome, didn’t feel I was treated any different even though I was in work gear. Personally shown to room , which was a lovely touch as well as a lovely room. Also nice and quiet. The food was beautiful to look at and even better to eat. Sourced as much as possible locally with the veg grown in their own plots or foraged. I can’t praise this place enough. It is on the list for a return visit

What a quaint place. Spotlessly clean. Beautifully furnished rooms. Hosts very friendly & attentive, excellent service. We had breakfast so much to choose from, the poached eggs & salmon were delicious. We would certainly recommend a stay here. Thank you.

A stunning venue with beautiful gardens. The surrounding area is also perfect for an evening walk as the sun sets. The restaurant service was impeccable. The staff were so attentive and knowledgeable about the exquisite food and drinks offered. It was homely yet luxurious. I hope to come back soon. Thank you for a perfect weekend.

Everything about this property is excellent; and this stems from the owners exceptional understanding of customer service. Highly recommend for value, quality of food and beverages, location and professionalism. You would be foolish to overlook this hotel and restaurant when in Suffolk.

I don’t often review hotels whilst I am mid-booking, though am so impressed with The Bull Auberge that I felt I had to! My room is fabulous; very large, comfortable and well appointed. The service has been 5* and I have just had one of the very best meals I have ever had, and I have had a lot of very good meals around the world! I would wholeheartedly recommend both the hotel and especially the restaurant.

Exceptional service. My stay was business, location good for my client base, but looks to be a great spot for walkers cycling Lots of quiet country lanes and walk ways. Excellent service for the owners delivered with passion. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to business traveler’s, or couples looking to a little break away weekend.

We just had a meal in the restaurant - literally could not have been any better. They organised a special steak for our special day and was served beautifully. Very friendly and courteous. Will definitely try and get back again (not local for us!)

First time at the Bull Auberge and was lovely. Clean and very comfortable room, very tasty food (breakfast was really good) and couldn't fault the service. Would definitely recommend and will stay there again.

This hotel and restaurant exceeded any other I have visited. Every detail is considered and the owners are lovely people. The rooms are beautiful but the highlight is the restaurant - they grow their own vegetables and have foragers collecting wild mushrooms, garlic and herbs. Anything that cannot be grown and meat, fish etc is sourced as locally. During my stay I ended up trying as much of the menu as I could and it is all delicious. I have an unusual dietary requirement and so, knowing I was staying and without me requesting it, they custom made me a dish but advised me i was not obliged to it eat (I did and thoroughly enjoyed it!). They don't pressure you on time so you can really enjoy your meal with family and friends. I am going to purchase a stay for family members because I have never been so impressed. Thank you Jake and Katie and all the wonderful staff at The Bull Auberge!

Lovely night spent at the Bull. Food was excellent and rooms (including a four poster in ours) comfortable with everything you could need. Highly recommended. Update: Another visit and The Bull just gets better and better. Fabulous food and fantastic team.

Booked last minute but so glad we did. A wonderful find. A had a very comfortable family room with a large en suite. Jake couldn't have been more welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was included, very tasty and a great selection. I'm sure we'll be returning.
