For the price we paid for a family room it was good. Room was clean but did smell of tobacco so opened window on arrival and sprayed. The heating was good. The toilet dripped all night and was a bit of a pain. Reported on check out. Parking when we arrived was extremely busy but we managed to get a space. 30 mins free internet is tight.

Great hotel located in a great area which is near to a shopping center & some fast food places. Great service from the staff and rooms very clean!

Nice, spacious, clean room. Very comfy bed. Large TV. The heating in the room is great, and I had to turn it down! Good WIFI. The bathroom had a shower above the bath. The shower was powerful. Toby carvery is located next door to the hotel, which is ideal and well worth a try. Supermarkets within 5 minutes drive. KFC and McDonald's within 10 minutes drive.

perfect if you are travelling to or from stansted airport, 20 minutes away. clean and comfortable, you get what you pay for. would definitely recommend. lovely receptionist ray too!!

Absolutely disgraceful from attempting to get a shower at 6pm but couldn’t because the water was absolutely freezing and wasn’t heating up at all I went to reception to be told it’s “peak times” for people to be getting showered to being told to wait half a hour. Waited a hour and still no hot water so went back to reception to be told she will check other rooms she then returns to my room and confirms all 3 floors in the hotel have no hot water and she will contact her manager and says she will probably have to close the hotel down and that was at 8pm it’s now 10pm and still no answers or reasons why absolutely disgusting

Stayed two nights. Room very clean and comfortable. If I were to give any feedback it would be two clean bathroom sink properly as it is developing strain from coffee/tea being thrown down it. Staff at reception were great.. so warm and friendly. Value for money 🤔 not sure

Very clean hotel, great staff, plenty of free parking available. There are many Halal restaurants in town centre walking distance.

The customer service I received during my stay at this Travelodge was extremely disappointing, particularly from an employee named Leigh-Anne. From the moment my family and I checked in, she was unfriendly and spoke to us in a rude, condescending manner. When I tried to address her tone and approach, she neither apologized nor adjusted her behavior. In addition to the poor service, the hotel itself was in subpar condition. My room had several issues, including noticeable dust throughout, especially in the bathroom. It was clear that the ongoing construction work had not been properly cleaned up, leaving our room uncomfortable and uninviting. We also weren’t informed in advance about the renovations, which were disruptive and inconvenient. This lack of transparency and the overall atmosphere led us to relocate to another hotel for the night, as we no longer felt comfortable staying. In summary, our experience with this hotel was unpleasant and uncomfortable. I would strongly recommend considering other accommodations before booking here.

Recently stayed in the hotel after a late night flight landing at London Stansted. Despite the unsociable hour, a friendly member of staff swiftly checked me in. The room was super clean and comfortable. Upon check out, members of staff were really friendly and chatty, making a pleasant end to my stay! Location was perfect in only having to walk less than 1 minute to make my way back to London! Would definitely stay again!

Accommodating when we arrived late, However once we where actually on our floor it stank of cigarettes, someone smoking in there room…… Loud neighbouring rooms for an hour after midnight Check in staff nice no complaints, Carpet was stained Awful beds needs updating Cigarette marks on outside window sill Barely any plugs for a family room. Car park directly outside not owned by Travelodge however we registered our car with the hotel, we woke up with 3 tyres slashed wasn’t the only car impacted by this so highly recommend using NCP car park for security. Great location shame about everything else

Average rooms really, nothing special but decent rates. Ideal if you just need somewhere to lay your head at the end of a long day.

Perfect location to the train station but a walk to town. Toby carvery next door is convenient and near a gorgeous park. The staff were super friendly especially the lady who checked us in

Disgusting 1- Appalling Bathrooms The bathroom reeked of urine and it was VERY unhygienic. Even after complaining to staff, they did nothing. The exhaust fans don’t even work. 2- Dusty Rooms The carpet was very dusty and hadn’t looked hoovered. No ventilation so it was always stuffy. Not ideal as there were only 2 sockets. The lights flickered and were so dim. All the duvets smelt badly of sweaty feet; are they not washing it? 3 - Busy car park. The car park was always so congested. Cars were speeding inside the lot and always dodgy people lurked the premises. No security. Bad experience overall, wouldn’t recommend!
