Stayed for two nights. Room was clean, service was great - very helpful people on reception, really good breakfast with wide selection of food. It was a bit tricky for navigation app to get us there and we took literally the last (very small) parking space in back but other than that, great experience.

This hotel is below the general Holiday Inn Express (HIE) standard. The receptionist does seem like welcoming you. While the room is larger than the norm, the shower hot water control is not working properly which is something basic but missed. The breakfast is the worst among all HIE as it comes with packed breads and no hot food available. This leaves you wondering if the hotel is managed by ihg.

Rubbish better off sleeping in a car. Booked a double room with a double bed got there and they said we only have a double room with 2 single beds asked again the next day and still only a room with 2 single beds tv not working room colder then being outside as no heating was on and couldn’t even turn it on because it is controlled from reception. Checked out after 2 nights and found a different hotel

Currently going through a much needed refurbishment. One of the “tiredest” HI Express hotels I’ve stayed in. So facilities reduced currently, I personally wouldn’t consider returning until 2023 when refurb completed

Stayed in June on business trip. It’s a Holiday Inn you know what you’re going to get which is all the basics to a good standard. Breakfast was enjoyable. Pint of Guinness, Burger and chips came to nearly £20 so not the cheapest. Not really close to anything within walking distance.

Chose this hotel because of the location.Price reasonable, surprised that a good breakfast was included.First impression was a bit disappointing the entrance exterior not well maintained.Staff were polite and helpful,we had a long journey,so checked in early.Room was ok,quiet ,but beds not comfortable,breakfast disappointing.would I go there again...hmmm ...

Rooms getting a little old and worn, but clean and tidy. Breakfast is as expected. Very handy for getting back on the motorway.

Stayed over the bank holiday weekend, room on 3rd floor was fine.
First night struggled to sleep due to the constant noise of the a/c unit, needless to say not happy!
Manager promised that an engineer would fix it, were told that it had been drained. Second night same noise again! Seriously annoyed! Spoke to manager, not particularly interested! Third night, exactly the same!!
Promised a refund of the first night, still waiting!
Although considering the problem was every night of stay, would’ve expected more!
Last year stayed at same hotel - leaking toilet, again not fixed despite numerous reporting of smell and water!
Won’t be staying again!

Drove in through a flood. Carpark littered with cigarette butts. Had to wait at reception for service. But, good staff who had poor tools to work with. The room was past its sell by date and the bathroom flooded when using the shower. A tsunami head to the main bedroom. We wanted an accessible room, it was but when offered another room to use instead of our pond it was that strong cigarette smell again. Breakfast was good but evening meals very basic. The only good thing about the place was the staff. They did try so hard to help.

Stayed for one night following an event in Lpool city. Rooms were a good size but pillows were way too fluffy. Windows needed cleaning and there was a loud vibrating generator noise from near our room.
Breakfast was okay with the usuals.

Lovely clean and tidy. Comfortable rooms, complimentary tea and coffee, basic but good breakfast buffet, gluten free catered for too on asking.

Shocking long wait for food to be served in evening , over 60 minutes to be told that choice was not available, another 45 minutes for food to arrive.Avoid ! Obviously no organisation in kitchen

In the middle of an industrial estate. No bus service to get to anywhere. Noisy neighbours. Staff had to put up with a lot. Always happy to help.

Staff were friendly. Breakfast was included and was fine.
It just felt a bit lifeless.
But it was perfectly functional.
