Came in alone and was therefore punished (?) by being neglected. I was warned that I only had 10 min to order. I made my decision in 2 mins and spent the next 7 min trying to wave down a waiter - but I was simply ignored. I had to put my food order in at the bar counter where there was a server. I ordered an appetizer and main. They decided to bring both at the same time (never asked if I wanted it otherwise) so I felt rushed to eat my appetizer so my main doesn't go cold. Then, to make matters worse, the food was just bland. Be careful: at the very end, you're also charged a 13.5% "discretionary" tip for the "service."

The mocha was to die for! Very friendly staff, especially Jess who was absolutely lovely and very attentive. Would also recommend eating the Eggs Benedict Royale 👌🏻

My wife and I visited on Friday and had a wonderful and relaxing time with service and food of the highest standard. We were looked after by the very attentive and professional Finn who is a credit to the business and deserving of the highest praise

Impromptu meal outside in the spring sun of fish and chips and pot of tea. Fish was fresh which is uncommon in some places so was a nice touch.

Very eloquently designed restaurant, celebrated a colleagues anniversary. Starters were correctly sized and main dish was perfectly cooked and the sides fit perfectly. All in all a very delicious and nice evening. Shout out to the whole team and the musician playing the whole eve.

I came here on Valentine’s Day and ordered from the special menu. Food was astonishing (pictured), the waitress was very friendly and the forever rose and the Ivy box was a magnificent touch!
The waitress called Jessica was amazing and was very attentive to our needs and always had a smile! I rate the service 4/5 because it took a bit too long to get our bill as no one was looking at our table, and then realizing that we had completed our food. Harsh, I know? But we were waiting for 15 mins to be noticed. However, they were very busy that evening and were accommodating to us, considering we were 15 mins early for our reservation and they had a table ready for us!
I loved the live music and the champagne was actually not half bad, usually I hate it.
I highly recommend coming to this establishment if you want to treat your girl to a special Valentine’s Day!

We had our first anniversary here 5 years ago, and returned last week for our 6th and wow, the staff were absolutely incredible. Ula (the manager) and Adina (our server) especially made the night feel so special! The food was excellent, especially the scallops, the chips and the chocolate bombe pudding - my wife has a load of food intolerances, and they were really kind and accommodating. The ambience there is always great (we love the decor), and there was live music which created a really nice vibe without being overpowering. Will definitely be back for our 7th!

Best! Anniversary! Dinner! Ever! - This is my/my wife’s favourite restaurant; we came here for our first anniversary, and returned 6 years later for our 6th. The food was, as always, delicious, perfectly cooked (we had the scallops, the special salmon fish cake burger, and the miso cod, plus ice cream and the ‘birthday box’ dessert - despite it not being our bday lol, because it’s so damn good) and the staff were super accommodating with dietary requirements. But what REALLY made the evening was the service: Ula (the manager) and Adina went above and beyond in every way to make our celebration feel special. Ula greeted us with a complimentary bottle of champagne to be like ‘woo! 6 years of Granary Sq fun times’, and was just *so* personable and accommodating. Adina offered to take pics for us, and even nabbed another waiter’s phone light to make sure the photo lighting was perfect <3 Both of them were so honestly excited for us, and we are so grateful for the atmosphere they created.

Great food and drinks, but a disappointing experience with flexibility. My wife wanted a simple poached egg on sourdough toast, but we were told it wasn’t possible because toast wasn’t on the brunch menu—despite the fact that Eggs Benedict was available. It seemed like an unnecessary restriction, which took away from an otherwise enjoyable meal.

The ambiance and food were very nice. This is a restaurant I used to go to regularly. However, at my last visit, I fell down some steps that were adjacent to the table I’d been seated at. I was shocked when this happened as I fell down 2 steps and onto the floor. No-one came to help me except the friend I was with. A waiter stood by and just looked at me. I phoned the restaurant the next day to explain what had happened and how this could have been much worse if I was a less mobile person. I could have been badly hurt as the steps led to a plate glass window. The person I spoke to acknowledged the incident and I suggested, from a health and safety point of view, that the incident should be logged. I was told someone would call me back but they never did. So I will not be visiting this restaurant again as it clearly shows that the staff didn’t care about what had happened to me.

Our server Jessica was so lovely and made our entire night feel perfect 👌
The food was delicious. We ordered the Valentine's special and got two starters, two sides, two entrees, and two desserts. The steaks were done perfectly and the timing between each course was spot on. Jessica read us well and made us feel comfortable and cared for. Thank you for this great dining experience 🙏
