This is a really evocative presentation of a temple of Mithras. Great displays explain what is known about this mysterious cult.

Really creative presentation of archeological finds. The guides are very friendly and knowledgeable. Its’s free! And only takes about an hour to view. But make sure you book online in advance because they use timed entries.

A great place for a quick visit if you’re into Roman history. There’s a light show that lasts about 5-10 mins, and it’s free and managed by Bloomberg (not ideal to have it in private ownership but at least it’s free). Worth a visit along with the amphitheatre under the Guildhall if you’re on a Roman London tour.

One of the lesser known spots to visit in London, well worth a look though. A real curiosity and beautifully presented with great atmosphere. And it’s free!

Free to enter. Well worth a visit if you're history minded, as one of the few remnants of Roman London. Don't expect too much from the immersive experience though.

Interesting Historical site. Not sure what I think of the light and sound show, the site itself is a small ruin and they have clearly attempted to make it more interesting but it does feel a bit like a missed opportunity from that point of view. The fact that Mithras was 'worshiped' in London puts a different spin on Christianity and it's influence on western culture, worth researching for anyone interested in Historical religion but the site itself only warrants a short visit of maybe half hour at most. It's free for a reason.

Fun free immersive experience every 20 minutes. Staff is great. With an extra gallery with info and especially photos, I would've happily paid.

Fascinating free look at early London history. Bit hard to understand as no explanation of the short "show" but still worth a visit.
