Food is tasty, service is good, albeit we felt slightly pressured to leave at one point. You cannot book, but we were put on a waiting list and waited in the different outside/inside barstool areas enjoying a reduced tapas menu and some wine in the meantime. The service was the best in this area, very friendly waiters. I wish we had access to the full menu here, as we would have had our dinner there considering the main menu are small plates mostly. Food is very good quality, price in line with a central London high end restaurant. They must have a maximum time you can sit, as our bill came without us asking for it. Still, a good experience. The croquetas, arroz negro and pulpo being the highlight.

Service and Atmosphere have clearly worsened. Some counter staff don't seem well versed in the dishes on offer. I hope the team can improve. One of the few authentic Spanish restaurants in London which I used to love, but falls short in certain categories.

Last evening, my friends and I had an unforgettable dining experience at Sabor in London. Located on Heddon Street, Sabor stands out as an experiential restaurant that brings the richness of Spanish cuisine to life. The menu is inspired by various regions of Spain, offering a selection of tapas and main courses prepared with fresh, high-quality ingredients. Our group decided to order almost the entire menu, allowing us to taste a wide variety of dishes. Every bite showcased careful preparation and the freshness of the ingredients. The seafood tapas were particularly remarkable, and the traditional Spanish dishes had just the right amount of modern innovation without losing their authenticity. The wine selection was equally impressive. The Spanish wines on offer were expertly curated to complement the menu, elevating our overall dining experience. The staff were knowledgeable about wine pairings and offered excellent recommendations. The service was professional and friendly throughout the evening. However, at times, it was a bit difficult to hear the server’s explanations due to the lively atmosphere. This was a minor inconvenience and did not take away from our overall experience. Sabor was awarded a Michelin star in 2018, a testament to the quality of its cuisine and overall standards. In summary, our night at Sabor exceeded our expectations in terms of both flavors and ambiance. On our next trip to London, we will definitely visit again. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who appreciates Spanish cuisine and is looking for a high-quality dining experience.

Had a delicious dinner at El Asador for my husband's birthday. I also couldn't believe the value as it is incredible food are a very reasonable price (for London standards). I had high expectations for the suckling pig and it met them. It was juicy, tender and incredibly tasty. The service was also excellent and attentive. Can't wait to come back!

The most disappointing thing about our experience was the suckling pig. The meat was extremely dry, stringy (see picture) and frankly barely edible. I could buy any old cut of pork from Lidl, chuck it in the oven, and it would turn out better. I rarely complain about a dish but paying £100 for a signature dish at a 1-Michelin star restaurant, this was unacceptable. As for the other dishes: the rice, croquettes and octopus were decent. The spinach and manchego cheese, however, was extremely salty. This is a rookie error that I don’t expect Michelin star chefs to make. I will not be returning.

Summary: great dining experience with top class food and service. We ordered from the special menu for: calcots and romesco: a traditional Catalonian dish as a starter. Not my favourite but worth a try as a vegetarian starter Lemon Sole: excellently fresh and perfectly cooked! It is always hard to cook seafood to the best quality as the timing needs to be perfect. The fish itself is so fresh and fried to a perfect state with a little crispy on its skin but still tender within. We also ordered from the regular menu for: Crispy fried pig ear: as a starter and it’s first time I tried pig ear that’s been crispy fried. Very well cooked with a good balance between feeling meaty and bit of oily Pulpo a Feira: a classic Octopus dish and cooked to the finest. The chef also did a demo of how they cooked this giant Octopus! Tortilla Gallega: another classic Spanish dish and again it’s cooked perfectly with tenderness inside. We have also been offered a complimentary dessert as we are celebrating birthday and truly appreciate the kindness of the services offered!

This restaurant has been on my wish list for months and I’ve built such a high expectation in my mind. Just went there and the experience has better than I could have ever imagined! The service was excellent, the atmosphere was inviting and the food was beyond words. The cuttlefish pappardelle is an absolute must try! Can’t wait to go back and shout out to Raúl who made our visit even better <3

Fantastic Experience – Highly Recommend! From start to finish, this restaurant exceeded my expectations. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, with beautiful decor and the perfect level of background music to create a cozy yet lively ambiance. The service was outstanding—our server was friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu. They made excellent recommendations, and we never felt rushed or ignored. Now, onto the food—absolutely delicious! Every dish was beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. I ordered the [dish name], and it was cooked to perfection. My companion had the [another dish], and they couldn’t stop raving about it. The ingredients were clearly fresh, and the portion sizes were just right.

I had high expectation based on the google review and decide to celebrate my birthday there. But the food is underwhelm and everything is overpriced. We ordered 4 dishes ( octopus mojo rojo, tortilla, arrozo negro and croquetas). Just shocked how small is the portion considering the high price tags and mediocrity of the taste. I always order exact the same things in another spanish tapas restaurant called black pig with white pearl. Their arrozo negro and octopus is 100 times better.. I wish I have gone to that restaurant for my birthday :( If you are a foodie - don’t bother come here

Lively dinner spot. We only got tapas this time, but we would very much love to return and try some of the mains. The iberico meatballs were divine — rich, juicy, flavorful. The pork and apple empanadilla was also delicious. The cocktails were extremely good; they balanced myriad flavors very well, and they were easy to drink. For dessert, we had the goat’s cheese ice cream with licorice sauce; the ice cream was a lovely blend of savory and sweet, and the sauce had just the right kick without being too overpowering. Service is also extremely friendly and informative.
