We can't rate this place highly enough! It is so special, a really homely and atmospheric place, run by a wonderful team of very special people! The rooms are quirky, furnished in a unique style with odd, old fashioned furniture,but very comfortable. Food is excellent, and the staff make such a fuss of you and really make you feel welcome. Can't wait to go again!

Lovely place, helpful staff, quiet location. Room spotless, likewise bathroom. Special shout-out to chef,as I was away early in the morning he insisted on making me a hot sandwich/toasty to leave with. Highly recommend.

lovely hotel/food/staff cant fault the priory hotel in anyway shape or form staff was welcoming and friendly and the breakfast was incredible. i would defiantly recommend going as unfortunately they are closing down next year its a shame but I'm glad to have been there 10/10 on staff and food good job everyone

Will stay again it was a lovely quirky place. The staff were great, very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was lovely I tried Haslet a local pork dish and it was delicious. My husband had the full English and it looked very well cooked and presented. The room was big and clean. There where very nice touches like a hot water bottle, chocolates and a swan made from a towel on our bed. Made us smile, thank you!

All I can say is wow. This website was clear. Not only with the information that I required but also information about this hotel and the mission statement. I am so looking forward to visiting this venue. October 2024 Attended this venue was for a cross-stitch retreat. The room was spacious for our needs. The staff were amazing. They were attentive, polite and professional. The food was great, good portions and very tasty.

My wife and I stayed over one Saturday night and had the 7 course taster menu deal. The staff are so friendly and efficient and the chef (Paul) produces some wonderful dishes with locally sourced ingredients, I thought the meal was really great value for the quality of the food. Breakfast was great too, if I'm in the area again I would definitely come again.

Perfection! We had the great pleasure of enjoying the tasting menu experience last night, and wow what an evening it was. We were made to feel so welcome and special from the moment the front door was opened for us by Daniel. Great service from Daniel, Ben and Paul. Perfect atmosphere and the most wonderful meal. Really lovely place! We stayed for 2 nights as part of our Honey Moon, the room was perfect and the staff were so wonderful! We tried their 7 course taster menu which was really tasty, the dishes just kept on coming, the smoked gammon was fantastic! Great location, close to the centre of Louth, which has lots of cute cafes and places to visit. Beautiful walks around the wolds too!

EDIT ...Love it so much just been for our 4th visit. Food absolutely divine. Service with a smile by some beautiful people, a warm and welcoming host/very talented chef. Love the ethos of this place and what a beautiful building too. Overnighter with the taster menu what a fab place to celebrate 45th wedding anniversary

We had a lovely (if brief) stay at The Priory. Paul and his team were amazing and very accommodating for our early arrival. Fixed us up with a delicious breakfast and really couldn't have been more helpful. Thanks you for your warm welcome and perfect level of care and attention.

Amazing find. This is a fantastic and historic building (undergoing renovations at the time of my visit). Great staff who come out to greet you when you arrive. Our room was basic but had all you might need, including tea and coffee making facilities, a safe, etc. and good WiFi. The breakfast room was great and very interesting. Breakfast service was good.

What a fantastic weekend, the room was great, the staff were very friendly and helpful and the chef made the most amazing shepherds pie that I will spend the rest of my life trying to recreate, amongst all the other wonderful dishes on the delicious tasting menu, comfort menu and quality breakfasts
