The serene atmosphere of the park is perfect for a rejuvenating nature walk. Lush greenery and vibrant flowers create a picturesque landscape. Birdsong fills the air, adding to the tranquil ambiance. The well-maintained trails offer a comfortable and enjoyable walking experience. It's an ideal place to connect with nature and escape the hustle of daily life.

Amazing park, has ample space. This park has two separate play parks. It also haa a beautiful lake which you can go on a rowing boat. We attended the park to do the Parkrun that is meld nearly every Saturday at 09.00am where you can walk or run 5k. The park is always clean from any rubbish or dog poo. The parks are of a good standard with a variety of play equipment from swing, sea saw, slides and climbing frames. Both parks are fenced in for some added security. There is a toilet block near the younger kids park which are always quite grubby There are however toilets in the cafe / visitors center way are always clean and tidy and smell fresh. There is also a rollerblading track behind there although I'm not too sure when that is open. The staff on site are friendly and approachable. It's a great park with a lot of history. A few minutes walk from the park is The Dorman Museum which was free entry last time we went, that's also great for kids.
