One of the most iconic landmarks of a world-famous character. You can create a historic route in Nottingham by visiting Nottingham Castle, stopping by the Robin Hood Statue, and finally enjoying a beer at Ye Olde Trip to Jerusalem. However, informational signs about Robin Hood could be added around the area, allowing visitors not only to see the statue but also to learn more about his story.

This was a short weekend trip away with the wife, ostensibly to go 'Castling'. Nottingham Castle is now a museum showing Nottingham's history from the fabled Robin Hood to lace manufacturing and the Luddite rebellion. Week with a visit if you visit Nottingham.
