went there yesterday afternoon 5pm, as the photos online looked like it showed a classy, elegant place we booked in advance.
Arrived to what i thought must have been the wrong place as the pumping house music made me assume i was in a nightclub, but unfortunately it was this place. We stuck with it, tried to order a Steak and they said 'sold out of steak, i recommend you this 'Beef Fillet Steak on a Smoking Board'
tried it, loads of 'extras' but a SLITHER of beef, why would you recommend this to someone who you know came in for steak?
I'll tell you why, because it cost just as much as the steak did.
When they could tell i wasn't happy they brought me out more of these little beef scraps that you'd give to a cat maybe. £61 for 2 people, £60 wasted.

I found the place dull and dreary. An ideal place to visit if you're a young Goth or similar.

Great place for cocktails. Very theatrical with some incredibly creative drinks. Due to the complexity of some of the drinks, you can be stood at the bar a while, but you get to enjoy a vast array of drinks being made by the talented bar staff whilst you wait.

Good atmosphere and great cocktails. The names, appearances, and tastes of the cocktails are remarkably coherent. However, even though we made a reservation, they told us we had to leave after an hour and a half. They didn’t mention this over the phone. Maybe it’s common knowledge, but as a visitor, I couldn’t have known that.

Most expensive breakfast we have ever had but it was a treat for the newly brewed adult 😅 Bar staff could have been more friendly & inviting. Atmosphere: VERY quiet at breakfast time. This is the 2nd time we have been for breakfast with a Mad Hatter and there has only ever been 1 other table in there. Food was absolutely gorgeous though as was the drink that my teenage daughter refused & forced me to drink instead 😅 she enjoyed the drama of it though and that's what we went for 🤩

I recently had an amazing time at this spot! The food and drinks were absolutely top-notch, with every dish hitting the mark, especially the Halloumi Flatbread and Curried Fish. The service was simply the best I've experienced, thanks to Jasmina who really made the evening special. The atmosphere was lovely, and everything was spotless. I can't recommend this place enough for a perfect night out!

Went to an event, hosted by Alchemist, stunning venue, friendly staff. Didn't eat, will definitely go back. Did sample a cocktail.

Cocktails are awesome, but extremely poor service and half of the food on the menu are not available. Even after reserving a table, we had to wait for 20 mins for the table to be ready.

Although I haven't eaten here yet I absolutely love their non alcoholic cocktails. They are so beautifully presented. I was having a day out to myself for my 40th birthday and decided to pop in for a drink. The place is so nicely decorated and the staff are super friendly. The food I hear is very different and worth a try. Maybe I will go for a meal soon and update my review.

Food is excellent and drinks are theatrical.
After our cosmic oysters there was a slight mix up that lead to a long wait for our food but staff were apologetic and did a good job of rectifying the situation.

I had a steak sandwich and salt and pepper chips which both was freshly cooked and hot. We had two cocktails which was lovely. The staff were friendly and helpful. I would recommend going here

We're big fans of the Alchemist and the Nottingham location doesn't disappoint! Fabulous cocktails (as always), good vibes, and tasty food. Our favourites were the Egg cocktail and miso brownie.

We visited whilst the winter wonderland was on, the bartender who served us was fantastic, knowledgeable and even got us to interact, She made our visit memorable. I hope she enjoys the Jager mojito recipe we discussed. I will be returning

Came for a dinner for 2, service was amazing and as was the food! Can recommend the steak sandwich and all the drinks were amazing to watch and drink! Very cool building, lively on a Saturday night so defo need to book
