New management has taken over this Nepalese restaurant. we have been a few times and the food is excellent.
They have a varied menu something for everyone.
It's beautifully decorated, warm and cozy.
The staff are very helpful and friendly.
I would certainly recommend . 5*

No remote. 1 cup and 1 towel for 2 people. Very basic. Shame as with a bit of effort could be quite nice

Very nice stay at Oakham hotel I definitely recommend their restaurant service as they were more than accommodating to late arrivals like myself. I believe the room was very comfy but very minimal at the same time excellent value for money you shall see me again.

No shower gel
I cup for two people
I bath towel for two people
Plumbing needs sorting .....no cold water in sink.
Can't fill kettle. Too large to fit under taps in sink.
Mattress lumpy and uncomfortable.
No staff on hand to complain to unless you can speak to restuarant staff when they are open.

Down fishing rutland, rooms basic but good size and clean,local for everything in town, review said it was noisey haven't heard a thing,would come back and probably will next only issue for us was parking but cant help that

If I could give a zero I would! Horrible place full of drunk teenagers until 3am. Reported issues to management....to date no reply! The room was unclean and also the TV was not working. AVOID AT ALL COST

Nice clean room. Had everything you need but if in room 1 can be noisy due to wooden stairs. Also windows in bathroom could do with something on the glass as people can see you in the bathroom if blind isn't pulled down.Didn't really bother me but some people might not like it. Right at the town and accross from the lovely church. I would go back any day. Loved it

The website said I could book in after 12 .Would not let me in until after3 pm.No remote for TV. Cold shower as unable to get any hot water.Apart from that OK.Would I use this hotel again .NO.

The hotel sent us a text us to cancel our reservation with just one week's notice. They requested that we submit the cancellation on the booking website, I suspect this is because if they submit the cancellation it looks bad for them.

The room was clean and bed comfortable,the entry system works well, a few minus points like no tea bags, no milk and the television signal is rubbish. The tea & milk was solved within 10 mins after sending a short txt, the TV was not important to us. We would stay here again.
