Oakhams best kept secret! Having eaten and stayed at the hotel, I have to say it’s one of the best hotel restaurant meals we’ve ever tasted, fantastic menu and all amazingly cooked, presented and expertly served, brilliant value too….couldn’t score the restaurant experience any higher. We stayed at the hotel on a Sunday evening, comfortable room, friendly staff, and again a lovely breakfast…. HIGHLY HIGHLY recommended.

Went for family Sunday lunch, the food was really excellent, with plenty of everything and beautifully cooked and presented, in particular there was a wide selection of vegetables. The service too was very good.All in call a delicious Sunday Lunch.

My husband would stay at the Wisteria when coming for work and always had high praise. This was my first time and O absolutely loved it. The food was amazing and the staff could not have been any more accomodating

We went for Sunday Lunch and it was excellent, one of the best we have had. The food was fresh and nicely presented. The staff were excellent and very friendly and helpful. Will definitely be going back, and would highly recommend.

We had an excellent 1night stay at this superb hotel. The room was well appointed and equipped with very comfortable large bed. The food at our evening meal and breakfast was well cooked with plenty of choice. The staff were all polite and helpful. We would certainly go again.

Flawless rooms and service. Great location in Oakham. My only niggles are tiny: these days I expect Chromecast or similar on hotel TVs. And the car park is small and tight, but nearby parking is easy. The car park could benefit from losing one space to gain a dedicated turning space.

Had a great time here. Location is excellent. Close to a range of attractions and the market town of Oakham is literally just outside. Staff very helpful with clean and tidy rooms. Great restaurant.

An excellent lunch yesterday. Very pleasant environment with attentive and friendly service from Marina. The food was stylishly presented and extremely tasty. We'll definitely be back.

My daughter prebooked me at this hotel due to the fact that they were supposed to cater for people like me with mobility problems. (they were told I had mobility problems and needed a separate shower) I arrived late late on Thurs 20th June 24 (due to my flight delay from Spain) for a 4 night stay, My daughter had to pay by her card on arrival and I was shocked to find that instead of 84pounds a night it was 154 they had put me in a family room and said no other rooms were available. After a quick meal we went up to my room. The Shower was inside a rather deep bath which no way could i get in or out of, there was no bathroom stool or seat so for the 4 nights stay I could only wash standing up at the basin, on booking my daughter was told there were a few stairs it turned out every time I left my room I had to negotiate 15 narrow stairs. I cannot fault the staff- decor and cleanliness of the hotel but their care of mobility problems was non existent.

Booked for Sunday lunch for my 50th. Received an email Sunday morning from the Wisteria informing me that they had a problem with some of the kitchen equipment. We still went and ate and it did not disappoint! The food was delicious! Everyone off is thoroughly enjoyed the food and wine.

What a beautiful hotel, the staff were very helpful and friendly and the food first class. We only stayed one night but managed to cram lots of things into the two days, museum, castle,.shops , a free concert at Oakham school, (which was amazing!)

Had a fantastic one night stay at the Wisteria, the service Kate and staff provided was excellent. Room was top class. The quality of evening meal and following morning breakfast was really impressive, Recommend staying and dining here, we'll definitely be coming back.
