Consumato arrosto della domenica in 3 persone. Una con manzo e due con spalla di maiale. Arrosto di maiale aveva un'unica fetta con circa il 75% di grasso. In pratica abbiamo mangiato le patate di contorno e il pane. Fatto presente al personale che il piatto non andava bene e nessuno ha provveduto. Commento: il maiale è grasso. Piatto non all'altezza del locale. Servizio meriterebbe di più. Poca attenzione al cliente.

This was previously one of my favourite pubs, I’ve lived the area and have been coming my whole life. The Sunday roast was amongst my favourite in London - thick pink slices of beef, huge moist Yorkshire puddings, braised red cabbage and kale, perfect roasted potatoes and all the other trimmings. I was left so disappointed recently, over-cooked thin slices of tough beef, and all the cheapest veggies you could find - loads of white cabbage and anaemic potatoes. There used to be an abundance of lovely sides, like the seasonal greens which had variety and flavour, now replaced with white cabbage again. The fries were very dry and had no rosemary on them as advertised and the bangers and mash were average. Vegetarian and vegan options used to be plentiful, now they aren’t. The staff were barely awake, bringing us an empty water bowl for our dogs and forgetting parts of our orders. It’s really sad to see the decline of this place, I hope it picks up soon!

A lovely cozy waterside pub. Had their very reasonable and delicious set menu on a Friday night and watched the six nations. A good selection of beers and friendly staff. A good place to watch the rugby but worth booking a table in advance .

Unfortunately all 4 of our adult Sunday Roast beefs were overdone, and roast potatoes not crispy. Considering they cost £22 each, very disappointed in the food, especially as Sunday Roasts are their speciality...apparently!!

We arrived at noon for the first sitting of Sunday lunch. Three of our party of five ordered the beef roast, two of us opting to have the gravy the side. This revealed the meat to be almost cold, over-cooked, poorly carved, tough and tasteless (hence no doubt the “lashings of gravy” suggested in the menu). Was this yesterday’s beef? Perhaps the second sitting got something different. We have been occasional clients of the Old Ship for more than a decade and never been disappointed in the past. What was going on yesterday?

A good meal but unfortunately our group of 6 was reserved a very large table for 14 and it was not the best as table way to big

Henry and the team were so welcoming, great food and amazing service. Great views of the river, will be returning. If I’m honest there was a group of unpleasant guests who tried to give the team here a hard time, Henry and the rest of the wait staff handled it amazingly, and I have never had a nicer time in a restaurant . They were lovely throughout our whole time here. I really can’t recommend this place enough!
