Just went for a 1 night dinner, B&B break. A small boutique hotel with a small pool, hottub, and sauna, plus massage facilities. The food was excellent from the 2 AA rosette restaurant for dinner & breakfast. Nice small bar area, plus the lounge. Very cosy in the winter. The bedroom was clean and tidy and well equipped. Sadly ot was very foggy during our visit,...so we look forward to returning in Spring or Summer to take in the views.

We had a lovely weekend staying over, our room was lovely and all the staff were so friendly. Spent a good few hours in the lounge enjoying cocktails and chatting, we’ll definitely be returning.

What a delightful place - incredible views, lovely grounds, cosy vibes, attentive staff, and just really a relaxed and comfortable place to unwind. Loved it. Thank you.

Spectacular views over the Chalford Valley outside Stroud in the Cotswolds makes for a very romantic, discreet venue for any special occasion. The service is spectacular, the food and drink fabulous, and reasonably priced for the quality you get. Recommended every time.

Stopped by for afternoon tea. We had scones with jam and cream, and tea. Quiet and serene setting, and reasonably priced. Staff were friendly. Small lounge at the back has nice view of the garden, and the larger lounge at the front affords a view of the valley. The back road on the way back to Brimscombe Hill has some single track passages without clear passing places so check before choosing that route.

Wonderful recent stay in one of their 'Top-notch' rooms in the main house, which was well worth the extra price. Staff were friendly, professional and accommodating, they suggested some beautiful walks and solved issues without delay. The Room (and hotel in general) was clean and very comfortable. Wonderful old-style building and grounds. The restaurant was also lovely - the dinner credit we received made what would have been an expensive menu very affordable. Recommended and will likely be back!

We had a fantastic stay at Burleigh Court, the hotel was brilliant and the staff were extremely welcoming and helpful. The bedrooms were cosy, warm and clean. The living room was a nice addition, lovely roaring fires and a well stocked bar. A special mention to Owana, her service at breakfast was outstanding - the hotel are lucky to have her! If we could have given the breakfast 10 stars we would have, the food was perfect! We will definitely stay again. Thank you!

Sadly a very disappointing visit. We visited for my father in laws birthday. There were 15 of us. The venue is beautiful and it felt very festive. We arrived at 12.30. They didn’t take our food order until almost 2pm. We were seated in one of their private dining rooms which was lovely. The children’s sharing starters were bought out without plates for them to eat off. The starters didn’t arrive for almost an hour after we ordered. The mains then took a very long time and came out luke warm at best. We decided to leave without dessert as we had already been there 3 hours and didnt think the children could cope with however long dessert took to be served. Was really hoping for a lot more. They charge a discretionary service charge which, had the food and service been up to par we would have happily paid but not on this occasion.

We are very disappointed with our stay which we were looking forward to. It was completely different from what we hoped for and was advertised. I cannot believe where all these good reviews come from.. First of all, our room was very cold and smelled disgustingly musty. It was not cleaned properly (there were brown stains on the bathtub). There was practically no pressure under the shower. The bathroom was in general very run down and desperately needed refurbishing. We didn’t want to stay in this room to the point we considered going back home or book some place else but since it was already very late we decided to stay the night. In the morning we made a complaint and got another room which was a bit better - warm and not smelly at least. Unfortunately, the next morning there was no hot (not even warm) water whatsoever.

We got engaged at this hotel in July 2023 and went back following our wedding in June 2024 for our "minimoon". The hotel is dated but it adds to the atmosphere. They are updating the spa area which is exciting. Food was amazing as usual, although we were a bit disappointed that afternoon tea doesn't run all week as we missed out again! We will be back again!

Peaceful, provocative and evocative. It's a secret garden in the Cotswolds with its own restaurant and rooms, spa, plunge pool, swimming pool and sauna. Cream teas bring out the challenge to diet and suppers complete the day with an exquisite choice of wines.

Not recommended. Fantastic building, surroundings & staff. However room was so & so. Wonky bed. Defective shower with locked bath window. Menu v limited & last dinner was a joke. Feedback taken but so was money.

We had a lovely stay at Burleigh court for our baby moon. The price per night (with breakfast included) was amazing compared to other hotels in the UK I had looked at! We arrived before 3pm but our room was already ready and we’d been given a complimentary upgrade which was amazing for me at 27 weeks pregnant! Staff were so attentive and offered to carry bags to our room. We used the pool and loungers which were lovely and dined in the restaurant which was also lovely. I was very happy there were non-alcoholic cocktails on offer as the Apple pie one was AMAZING! The ONLY downside to our stay was that there was no thin sheet on the bed, in the summer months a duvet is just too hot for us and would have preferred a thin flat sheet to sleep with. Would definitely recommend and stay again! Xx

The building is beautiful, so are the gardens and the rooms are tastefully decorated. We stayed one night in room number 2 which i wouldn’t suggest staying in if you want to sleep in as the housekeeping is having their meetings right in front and we woke up from the constant running up and down the corridor from 7:45am. We arrived on a Sunday and wanted to use the jacuzzi and sauna, unfortunately the sauna is not working yet (website says beginning of august) and the jacuzzi wasn’t warm and quite dirty so we couldn’t use it which was a bit of a disappointment as we booked the hotel also for its spa facilities. The food is good but the portions are tiny, smaller than any other upscale restaurant. The atmosphere in the restaurant is nice and the breakfast lady was super friendly! Reception staff wasn’t really helpful and didnt try to find a solution when i raised the issues mentioned.

The Burleigh Court Hotel is a wonderful place to stay. There’s everything you need for a delightful getaway. Although it’s pricey (especially when we stayed at the weekend), the quality is second-to-none. The grounds are lovely, making for a very relaxing stay. The staff are incredibly accommodating and friendly and the food is delicious. Our bedroom was so comfortable with a lovely view of the garden. Highly recommend.

I'll start by getting the negative bits out of the way - We booked last minute (no, not the website) so we were in one of the cheaper rooms in the 'annex' and the water pressure for the shower and the toilet wasn't great. There was also a mix up at dinner, but it got sorted. On to the good stuff... The grounds & gardens are amazing, picturesque and lots of places to find a quiet corner and chill. And there are newts in the pond. The pool is lovely, although it was a bit cold, but that's the British 'summer' for you... Fortunately the jacuzzi's there to warm you back up afterwards. The location is bang on! We did 2hour+ walks each day, both of which they gave info for on the website and they helped us discover some great new (not easy to find) bits of the Cotswold's, both will be used for our YT walking channel. The interior of the hotel itself is great, take the time to have a look around, especially the seats by the window at the top of the stairs on the second floor, great spot for the sunset. And then there is the restaurant - our evening meal was the best chateaubriand I've had, with an excellent Rioja (great wine list), then we had breakfast included and all the boxes got ticked. Their home made hash brown really was GOOD. Also special mention for barman Josh, who is not only a dab hand at the cocktails, but also knows his wine. Yes, we'll be back.

Wonderful afternoon tea to celebrate our 27th anniversary. Couldn't fault service or quality. In place of the usual sandwiches, you have cooked meats, Scotch eggs, olives and pickles. Along with homemade scones, clotted cream and raspberry jam and a selection of petitfours. We also had a glass of champagne.

We had a fabulous weekend here recently for my birthday. We had fabulous weather which always helps!! The room was lovely (top notch), although the lighting in the bathroom failed and couldn't be fixed the first night, which wasn't great, but these things happen I guess. We loved the hotel, and they were very flexible, letting us eat breakfast wherever we wanted (outside). The breakfast was excellent both days, although they ran out of brown bread on day 2. I didn't especially enjoy the restaurant evening meals, and certainly my request for a low salt diet was ignored, with salt being added to butter, and toast, and pretty much anything. We had tough lamb the first night, which really wasn't edible (but no refund offered) although they did do a 2nd plate for my husband. We really enjoyed the walks, which we did on our bikes. And the location and setting is excellent.

My partner and I had a lovely bank holiday weekend stay here a couple of weeks ago. The hotel, the grounds, the restaurant and the staff are all incredible and although it is pricey, the service from the staff and the quality of the food is worth it. I proposed to my partner during this weekend away, which the hotel staff knew about in advance and they were all very attentive the whole time. The hotel isn't huge so the location feels very intimate but in a good way. We felt very looked after and left feeling very happy - will hopefully be back at some point soon!

Burleigh Court Hotel provided an exceptional experience for our small wedding, and we couldn't have asked for a better venue or staff. From the moment we arrived Sheelagh, Wendy. Erin, Jono, Oana and the rest of the team made us feel incredibly welcome and attended to our every need with warmth and professionalism. Their dedication to ensuring our day was special was evident in every detail. The accommodation and grounds were breathtakingly beautiful, providing the perfect backdrop for our celebration. The food and wine selection exceeded our expectations, with every dish being sublime and adding to the overall joy of the occasion. What truly set Burleigh Court Hotel apart was the cozy atmosphere that made us feel like we were at a home away from home. It was the perfect setting for an intimate wedding, and we are already planning to return next year to mark our anniversary. We are grateful to the staff for going above and beyond to make our wedding day unforgettable, and we highly recommend Burleigh Court Hotel to anyone looking for a delightful venue with exceptional service.
