Stayed here for a weekend with friends for some Christmas shopping. Great location for the main shopping centre. Food was excellent. Staff very friendly. Rooms exactly what you need for a weekend stay. Will definitely be returning in the new year

Stayed there on the 25th January.. Everything was clean and tidy. Service in the restaurant was amazing yuen was really helpful and the food was amazing I had the iron master burger highly recommend.. Rooms was spotless will definitely stay there again

Met up with my friend as the location is halfway meet up point for us and we tend to wander round rhe nearby shopping centre then go for a meal so the hotel is a perfect location for us.
Room was warm, clean and comfortable, shower powerful and hot.
Both had a lovely sleep, staff very friendly and helpful and I asked for some oat milk for our room and got given a large jug of it for tea.
The hot breakfast was nice however no vegetarian options other than the eggs, hashbrowns and mushrooms.
Lovely stay overall and we will be returning again, would of given 10 stars but for the lack of veggie options for breakfast and the rolling toaster wasn't hot enough so had to put the bread through twice and by that time my breakfast had gone cool.

How times change! I last stopped here when it was the Moat House, so number of years ago. The hotel is still ranked as 4 stars. I'm not sure how. The rooms are tired and stripped of previous niceties such as a phone, mini bar, and trousers press. The leisure club is still there, but it is now open to all, making it a far from a relaxing experience. Also, during our stay, there was a mix-up with breakfast times. The times in the rooms were different from what the kichen were working, leading to a very Faulty Towers experience.

The Iron Master in Mercure Hotel Telford center is a very sincere restaurant. Whether it was the seating arrangements, restaurant service, food quality, or the moment we left after the meal, we felt their attentiveness and requirements! Special thanks to the staff Shanix, who made us feel the real hotel-level service. She recommended the rump steak to us. The best steak we've had in Telford. We will come again to enjoy it!

We had a great stay. Lovely clean rooms and comfortable beds. Only 10 mins away from Polar Express. The kids enjoyed the pool and we all really enjoyed the breakfast. Helen in the breakfast room was very helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Would stay again.

Dined at the hotel Mercure Telford restaurant. Excellent service at every point from Yuen, Adriel and Romain. Fish and chips were super. Very expert at making solo diners feel very at ease.

Brilliant location for the shopping centre, rooms were comfortable and clean. Evening meal was good, Buffet style breakfast was OK bur a little dry when we ate at 10am.

The room was freezing condensation running down the windows. Went to reception to be told maintenance will g up and sort it. We came back in spoke to reception who assured us it had been sorted and the heating would come back on. After an hour the radiator was still stone cold when back to be told by another receptionist that they was no maintenance on. So basically I was lied too. It really took the shine of what should have been a lovely stay. The bed was lovely and comfy but because of the cold in the room the bed felt damp .

The bedroom was freezing and condensation running down the windows was not a pleasant experience. Reception told us that an engineer would fix the heating while we were away and when we returned to the room nothing had been done, when checking with reception again we were told no engineers were available. This is such a shame as everything else has been exceptional. P

Yuen and Dan were our servers in the Hotel restaurant and were absolutely amazing! We were accommodated Incredibly well, and they even let us stay late to finish our desserts!!!

Brilliant hotel within walking distance of the Telford Centre. Rooms were lovely, bed was extremely comfortable. Shower was lovely and decent pressure. Breakfast was 👌, especially the fry up on offer. Would happily stay again if in the area.

NO HEATING - followed by extremely poor service!
Receptionist advised no heating on a whole floor of rooms but as its only one floor her manager stated it doesn't warrant calling out an engineer out! They have additional stand alone heaters but they've given all those out already, So basically the remaining guests on this floor have to freeze through the night.
I will never use another Mecure hotel again as there are many other hotels who will prioritise their guest's comfort and their repeat business.
I hope the Duty Manager is reprimanded by their seniors for this ridiculous idea of service!
