Food was spot on but the staff were not, It just seemed like no-one was in charge and all the staff were running round aimlessly with iPads.
Place has real potential with the food but please change the floor staff.

Went on a Tuesday night after a friend recommended. Food was amazing one of the best Indians I have had. Staff were very friendly and attentive will be back.

Delicious meal and great service. This is my third visit and I love this place! The lamb thaba starter is amazing and the Achari curry is delicious.

Really glad we discovered Saffron Garden. It was so delicious. Service was good and the staff were very friendly. Recommend booking.

We had a 6:30pm booking. After 7:30pm we queried why our starters had not arrived and the waiter (without checking) said it would be 4 to 5 minutes. In the meantime the table next to us was served their starters and main courses. A bit later we saw a panic at the til which we think was them realising our order had not been put through. The waiters avoided us but when we asked they continued to say 4 minutes. After 8pm we asked to pay for our drinks so we could leave. Mistakes happen in a busy restaurant but once it has gone wrong you should be up front with your customers. The food looked nice.

We have now dined in the restaurant and order a takeaway from Saffron Garden and the food was delicious and the service was great.

We called and tried to place an order and someone picked up and then I ordered 10 chapatti and suddenly he started asking “what do you mean by chapatti “and as soon as he said that he stopped talking we waited for about 2 minutes on the call still no answer so I hung up and called again and it’s saying that they’re mail box is full and I can’t send them any messages or call again we call the same number it’s says the number not recognised.

Ordered a Chicken Passanda, Bangla Voujon and the usual extras for pick up yesterday. Food was so delicious. We will be ordering again or booking a table soon. Totally recommended.

Ive had a couple of meals here since opening, last night i went for my favpurite curry which i only enjoy from certain indians, being the patia! Had it with chicken tikka and by god it was mouth wateringly beautiful, everything is presented so nicely, foods gorgeous decorated beautifully and all i can say is dont think ill be eatting at anither indian again. That staff are all down to earth and based on my choices has recommended others for me to try which i cant wait too! Warning though my partner like a hot curry and kept saying a vindaloo isnt hot enough for him, had it from there yet again did not disappoint! Id give it more than 5 stars if i could

I had called in for a takeaway for Friday night super, the host and the food were excellent highly recommended, and I will be back in very soon. Thank god Banchory now has a excellent indian restaurant.

We weren't sure where to eat in Banchory so tried the Saffron Garden and we are very glad we did. We started off with lovely warm crispy poppadoms and some tasty dips. We had a lamb bhuna, chicken tikka masala and plain chicken curry all were cooked to perfection and the lamb was so tender it melted in my mouth. Service was excellent and setting was really nice. I would highly recommend the Saffron Garden and will definitely be back with some of the other curry loving members of my family.

Great to see a new restaurant open in Banchory. We visited for a birthday meal and were certainly not disappointed.
Great range of dishes to choose from, all beautifully presented and delicious.
Have already booked for the next family get together
Ps if you like it spicy, try the Naga Morris Bhuna. Absolutely first class
