Had a wonderful experience up in callender for the Jazz and Blues Festival. Not first visit or food at this hotel, however first overnight experience. My room was beautiful and classic with an impressive window view at rear. I loved the homemade shortbread touch in the room that naturally I had to try while sipping my coffee 👌😋 now to the breakfast wow! I started with the very plentiful porridge lots of different homemade choices for the top, followed by a very impressive large Scottish breakfast, it was so tasty I made sure I took my time to finnish it😀 the menu choice is fab, lots of options for all different taste buds. Coffee was great as was the fresh orange juices. My party having stayed here a few times now all rave about the hotel and the food. The owners are lovely, down to earth nothing is a bother. Relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Highly recommend for your stay in callender. Definitely will be back.

Nic and Suzannah, the hosts, are magnificent.
The food and service/atmosphere was superb.
I would thoroughly recommend stay and dining at Callander Meadows.
And of course we need to mention their amazing dog, Fergus, who is such a good boy, and he loves his belly rubs, being the Number 1 “guest greeter” at the Meadows.

Deze B&B wordt gerund door de geweldige hosts Nick en Susanna. Erg vriendelijk, behulpzaam, gezellig, humor. Mooie kamers, prachtige tuin waar je heerlijk kunt vertoeven.
De packed lunch viel helaas een beetje tegen.

Op zich een goede locatie, wel kleine badkamer met onhandige vouwdeur.
Gastvrouw is vriendelijk.
Nadeel is weinig parkeerplaats voor het hotel. Parkeren kan een stulje verder op een (betaalde) parking.

There seems to be confusion here, Callander meadows is a beauty spot
In the Trossachs town of Callander. It is NOT a hotel but it is surrounded by hotels, B&B's cafes and restaurants and a myriad of great shops on the small towns main St.
It is a place of beauty, peace and tranquility. The river Teith runs through it on a very fast current to join with the greater River Forth. In summer, Callander is a very busy place and hotel rooms can be scarce indeed. The pick of the main Street hotels for me, is the long established Crown hotel. Perfectly situated, a minutes walk from the meadows, where there is excellent service and great food. This undoubted haven is only 1 hour's drive away from Glasgow off the M80 to Stirling.😊
I stand corrected but had no idea that there is indeed a B&B called Callander meadows which i shall aquaint myself with on next visit.The description of the beauty spot in my review remains unchanged so please enjoy both, marvelling at the sight of one whilst staying at the other😇

First time at callander meadows and it was well worth the effort from the food to service all 5 stars 3 course I was very full after
I had the salmon and the grilled vegetables starter very nice husband had chicken and I had salmon both excellent . The cook definitely knows his food the menu changes daily so something new .will be coming back

We walked down this awesome street and found a little passage between building so we stuck our heads around the corner and there was this gem of a garden you can sit in and order food or beer or coffee. What a great spot to sit.
